This lovely café nestled near the red mountains offers outstanding food, wine selections, and views. Independently operated by a congenial couple, the brown ale pork, garlic chili lamb, and pasta dishes offered for dinner are extraordinary. Weekly specials complement the standards on the menu and often provide something out of the ordinary. The burgers here are fantastic, as are all... More

Xetava is located in a beautiful setting, has lots of ambiance and a unique, upscale menu. Our party of 4 well travelled seniors enjoyed the dinner experience overall, but...that experience fell short of expectations in some areas. First, the good news. Friendly staff, nice greeting, personable service, great flavors. Menus, both food and beverage, are relatively limited so suggest looking at... More

Spectacular surroundings for a neighborhood cafe and art gallery! Just a few miles thru / past Santa Clara, UT ( northwest of St. George, UT ) which by the way is such a cute little town / village too! Wonderful decor, nice staff and really unusual food items! Outdoor seating on a really nice patio! We had breakfast, I had... More

The place is nice but the food is not good. I'm not into the whole earthy granola taste and that's what this reminded me of.

Thanks for giving us a try. Fresh food and sauces made to order is not for everyone. More

Xetava is truly a diamond in the rough. No other restaurant in the area compares. The food is amazing and the setting is breathtaking. I make a point to eat at Xetava every time I'm in St. George. The service is spectacular and the food is delicious. Perhaps a bit spendier than other local options, but you are truly getting... More

We've eaten here several times, my wife loves this place. Just be prepared to wait for a table, wait for your drinks and to wait for your food! On more than one occasion there has been almost no one seated and we've had to wait up to 30 minutes. On the day after Thanksgiving there was one table being served... More

Thanks for stopping by and writing a review. The reason there was a 30 minute wait for a table was because we were full inside and it was a cold day, so we weren't serving outside. The people that were out there were either just having drinks or ordered food to go and decided to sit outside. The reason we... More

This is a charming suprise in the desert around Ivins. Have been there a few times now. The food is excellent and setting absolutely lovely--eat outside if you can. The kitchen is small, so they are picky about reservations for dinner. It is not cheap, but worth it. The wines and beer offered are quite good as well. Lunch is... More

My girlfriend and I have been trying to have date night here for almost a year now after movinv to the area. We had a wonderful meal. Only one slight glitch...the menu was printed with a section called"Grill" that started with Lamb etc - Entrees off the grill right?....we chose the last to - Marsalla and another - turns out... Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to write a review. The sandwiches you are referring to are 1/2 pound burgers made with locally raised, grass fed beef. You are correct, though, the menu was clear, and has been updated. We look forward to seeing you again. More

Food was quite good, but we didn't have 30 mins to wait for a sandwich in mid afternoon! Washrooms are "around the corner" which was a little odd. I had veggie ciabatta and my father had the daily soup. Both very tasty.

Thanks for coming and trying us out. Glad you like the food. A few things. The bathrooms are behind the art gallery which is twenty feet away from us. When we bought the building we are in, it was a gift shop, so when we converted it, there was nowhere to put a bathroom that wouldn't have a table right... More

I had the Spicy Hummus Platter and a Steak Salad. The hummus is made in house. It is absolutely delicious- and so is the Pita Bread that comes with it. The steak on the salad had an amazing flavor to it, and I love how they used Tzatziki sauce as a dressing. Absolutely delicious. No complaints at ALL. Their organic... More
