Great Food - Great Value - Great Service

The food is delicious and authentic with a great and pleasing variety of appetizers, main courses and desserts (some home made by the owners wife), the atmosphere is quiet and inviting (good for a romantic meal or a long and deep discussion with friends), and whether you chose your own plate or... read more

Located in the heart of old Holladay, Utah (about 20 minutes from downtown SLC), this Mediterranean restaurant is wonderful. Dishes tend toward Near or Middle East Mediterranean cuisine with lamb, fish, chicken, and lots of rice and vegetables. The service is very good and the prices very moderate. Open for lunch and dinner. We typically make reservations for weekend evening... More

I liked this place a lot. I read the menu and the prices looked reasonable so when the waitress told me the special I said sure I'll try it. A very delicious rack of short ribs. The only thing Mediterranean about it was the rice. We had a nice appetizer of some humus and chips. My wife was eating her... More

We had a business lunch here, and I was very impressed with the service. The food was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went here with a friend, as we both like Mediterranean food. It was good, but some parts were not as good as others. I had a Chilean Sea Bass that was panko crusted, and it was tasty, but really had nothing Mediterranean about it. Along with it I ordered the rice, which was really very average. It was a vermicelli... More

We have been to this restaurant many times and love it. Not only good food and a broad selection, but also very friendly, home-like service. It is busy.

Visited this for the first time based on reviews. Not impressed. I won't go here again. I'll go to Mazza or Spitz instead.

I really enjoyed the marquee chicken dish. Is had flavors that are still dancing in my mouth. This restaurant is a refreshing escape from the ordinary and you feel like you are visiting Morocco or other countries that serve traditional dishes of the area. It is a tough place to get in when you go during "prime dining times" so... More

My husband and I like to try new places - and I am the fan of different kinds of food, him, not so much. I had read that Layla had something for everyone, which it seems to me as it does. I had the falafel - it was ok....but not great, sorry to say, I was really looking forward to... More

My wife loves interesting food and different flavors; and I unfortunately I am the opposite. This makes it a challenge for us to eat out. But Layla magically worked for both of us. My wife was confronted with many interesting choices; the only challenge being narrowing to one choice. She loved what she got and is very eager to return.... More
