Best burger in Green River

Came here to enjoy a big burger after a day of ATV riding in the San Rafael Swell area. It really hit the spot, and tavern food always tastes great when you're really hungry. Good burger, good fries, decent coleslaw.

We went there on a Saturday night because we wanted to go to a restaurant that wasn't part of a chain. The place was packed. There was a couple of guys grilling large hamburgers and one or 2 waitstaff. Everyone was friendly. The burgers were better than homemade. Fries were great. Even though the place was very busy, the service... More

I have traveled and I have had burgers, my friends have traveled and have had burgers, my dad has traveled and has had burgers, Ray's will mess you up for life! I don't know what they put it in that meat (or don't put in it) but this burger will jettison the bar on burgers and you will find excuses... More

This is a no nonsense kind of place! We stopped on our way to Salt Lake City, and it was delicious. We had a basic burger and fries. Both were very fresh and yummy. You could tell the fries were made from real potatoes. The burger was a 1/2 pound and cooked to perfection! Definitely a great stop on the... More

We ate in this restaurant last year while traveling in Utah. It has an old wood front and a most comfortable feel once inside. Everyone seemed to be really enjoying their meal and surrounding company. We ended up sharing a long table with 3 other guys who welcomed us. The food here is so fresh and delicious. They have a... Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Couldn't eat it all. Delicious! Tried a couple of beers. Polygamy porter was great. Service was excellent. Traveling from Alabama. This is our second visit to Ray's. Will keep coming back when we are in Green River.

If you are traveling through Green River, there is only one place you should consider, and that is Ray's. I have eaten at all the restaurants in this little town while working there, and I have to admit that Ray's beats them all. Now realize, that you are in the middle of nowhere, so even the best is not the... More

Traveling through we stopped in at Rays Tavern, it was recomeded to us while we were in Price Utah as a good place to stop in. The lighting was a little dim but loved my burger ! tons of flavor and specialty beer on tap !! serve me up and lets feast. Highly recomeded.

I have eaten here before but on those visits I only had a hamburger. This time I splurged and got a steak and was really disappointed. It was so full of gristle and fat as to be almost inedible. Stick to the burgers which are excellent.

A great stop for lunch, with an eclectic décor and good service. This place has the (good) feel of an old dinner.
