We stopped for breakfast on the advise of the owner of Robber's Roost and she was right...it was a good breakfast. The bacon was not sliced with a micrometer, as most restaurant bacon is. It was thick and delicious. The cheese omelet could feed 3 people and was delicious. But wait...we returned for lunch after we came back from Colorado.... More

Just passing through Green River on a long car trip, and the Tamarisk is across the street from our hotel so we thought we'd give it a try...the ambiance is bright and cheerful, not noisy, very pleasant. Our server Danna was friendly and attentive. The menu is large and diverse, everything from steaks and chops to assorted seafood dishes, to... More

We drove into Green River and went from one end of town to the other (don't remember any stop lights if they did have any it was a waste of electricity). Anyway, this was one of three places to eat. One was a tavern, one Mexican and then the Tamarisk restaurant. Since we had Mexican the night before and the... More

We were passing through on our way to Texas and stopped at tamarisk because we had heard good things about it. The inside was really nice (it looked recently redone). We were there at sundown and we could see the river with the sunset which made for a nice view during dinner. The staff was friendly (especially with our excitable... More

We stopped for lunch here mainly because there is only one other reasonable place (Rays in Green River) between Canyonlands and Capitol Reef National Parks. But, was surprised at the quality of the food and service here. Seated quickly by very friendly and cheerful lady. Given a riverfront view, remember its Utah so while best it was nothing to write... We were excited to try this restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday and they were out of many items. Try it on another day. Also, they should expand the wine list.

After having a strange experience at our hotel this place was a nice change back to normalcy! Great food and service, their prices are very reasonable. If we're ever back in Green River this is where we'll eat. The restaurant overlooks the Green River with great views.

Nice staff, great atmosphere that makes you think you aren't in green river. The food was good but not excellent. Fast service and friendly staff.

Pretty restaurant on the river. Good service. Nice salad bar. I had the lightly breaded fish filets (4). They looked and tasted like they were a frozen food brand I buy at the grocery store. Okay, but not what I would expect at a nice restaurant.
