Great location

The Tamarisk has a great location right on the Green River, and the pleasant dining room takes advantage of the view. Lots to choose from on the menu; my husband had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, which he liked a lot, and I had a good chef's salad. My only complaint about the salad is that it... read more

Good food and service. I ordered a burger and rosemary garlic fries. The fries were delicious. Also indulged in their famous sweet roll while enjoying a view of the Green River.

My wife and I drove from Red Cliff Lodge near Moab up to Green River to reach Torrey and the Notom Road to Boulder, UT. By chance, we found Tamarisk Restaurant when we exited I-70 for a gas stop. Some of the best eating experiences we have had traveling all 50 states have been by accident, and I rate this... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on our way back from Moab. We weren't expecting a lot and found a great deal more inside the restaurant. It sits right on the river and has a really pleasant view while being bright and sorry. The food is what you would expect your mother to make really good basic home... More

We stopped in for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. A great buffet lunch with tasty soup. Large portions of good food and great service.

Lots of customers (a good sign) and so we had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table. The restrooms were clean and maintained. . From our table, We had a good view of the Green River flowing along just down the slope. Service was fast and friendly. The chicken beast that I had was moist and tasty. The price was... More

This restaurant is the star of the tiny town. Recently revamped, it has amazing decor, great view of the river, gorgeous presentation, and top quality, local and unique menu items. Went with a huge group and again with my husband. Both experiences were amazing. If ever driving between Moab and Provo/slc/Logan areas, STOP IN!

Stopped in off of the Interstate. Had to wait a few minutes for a table, but well worth it. Service was quick and friendly, beer selection was good and our meals were both delicious. The nice view of the river and sunset skies topped it off. I definitely recommend it!

The service was fast and friendly. We were seated within minutes of arriving, and got the surprise we were not expecting when we looked out the floor the ceiling windows and saw the beautiful Green River raging along!! Amazing service and out of this world portions! Affordable and worth more than they charge.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere (modern without losing the small town feel), and reasonably priced. We had a Navajo taco, pork chops, baked Mac and cheese, and a patty melt. The portions were all good and the food was yummy. There are only a couple of truly good restaurants in Green River and this is one of them. Enjoy.
