Yummy salad

The Tamarisk was recommended by my hotel as a good place to eat. The Tamarisk has a nice location and is very pleasant. I ordered one of the specials. It was chicken with strawberry and kiwi over mixed greens. The salad came in a huge bowl and was very good. The Tamarisk has a varied menu. The... read more

Driving down from salt Lake to arches we saw the billboard advertising this restaurant around the same time as we're starting to think about lunch. We were seated by the window and had a really nice relaxing view. Food was simple but tasty. Large portions.

Good place to eat in Green river. Service was good and even late in evening there was a slight wait to be seated. Overall in would eat there again. Prices good too.

The attendant at Sleepy Hollow Motel recommended this as the best restaurant in Green River. I haven't tried the others but I think he was right. We had a table just inside the door, so we did not enjoy a few of the river. I recommend that you ask for a table with the view. The food, though, was good... More

In a town as small as Green River we never expected to find such great food. The service was a little slow but everything was delicious!

Meals are about the best you'll get in Green River, Utah. If you are used to eating in bigger cities, or have traveled to locations that are more foodie -- like California, or Europe for example -- you may be disappointed. But they do a good job and offer more variety than you'll get anywhere else in town. Meals are... More

The food and service was extremely nice and we were really pleased with that. However we were just leaving the restaurant when one of the older waitresses chased after us asking why we had only left a $3 tip. We explained that we are British and don't tip in our country and that we thought $1 per person was sufficient... More

Stopped in here for breakfast on a road trip. We had mostly been “surviving” the gratis breakfasts offered by hotels along our route – supplementing those and restaurant meals with fresh fruits and veggies from markets. But our hotel in Green River did not come with breakfast, and we planned to travel (and hike in national parks) through lunchtime. Thus... More

Needed to stop to eat and thought nothing would be great because it seemed that there wasn't much in the area. But I couldn't have been more wrong! A very clean and upscale interior greet you. They bring warm bread with butter and honey to your table. A truly delightful menu with both Mexican dishes as well as traditional American... More

Good food, great service, right off the highway. Nice decor, interesting. Beautiful view of the Green River river. Ask for a seat at the window.
