awesome burgers the beef patty is the best ive ever had. skip the pizza across the street which is just ok and hit the circle d for a tasty burger made from grass fed cattle, so tasty id eat the patty by itself. the only negative i can say is that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity on your bill.

This restaurant was a really nice surprise in this tiny town that doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of dining. We received a prompt and friendly greeting when we walked in, friendly service, ice cold beer and delicious food as we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and area. It's clean, cute, convenient, has indoor and... More

We were staying at the Circle D hotel, so the Eatery was a convenient stroll away. I had already decided to eat at the Eatery because it got consistently better reviews than the other restaurants in Escalante. The reviews are correct. The food is good. We ordered the sliced brisket and the combo platter. With the platter, you get barbeque... More

We were on a trip on Route 12 and decided to have lunch at Escalante, then going to see the petrified forest. We stopped at Circle D. The place is not a fashion one, with classic aluminium furniture, typical from a summer terrace and showcasing beautiful photos from the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Park. The service was very friendly, quick, efficient... More

Our burgers were yummy. This spot was newer than we expected, and we just made it under the wire as they closed for the season two days later.

We were traveling from Bryce Canyon to the Arches when we happened upon this restaurant. We were there on Oct. 30th and they were closing for the season the very next day. I am so glad we got there before it closed. I had a fabulous spinach and brisket salad and my husband had a burger with great fries. The... More

Not many choices in this town, but if you like smoked brisket you won't be disappointed. The meat was so tender it fell apart when you stuck a fork in it. It was also very tasty. Our server was very friendly and courteous.

Arrived into Escalante just in time for dinner. I had the smoked meat combo - ribs and chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. My hubby had the ribeye steak. Don't miss this place if you are in the area. The food was scrumptious! Helpful and friendly staff in a lovely eating area. Came out just in time... More

Fantastic ribs! I sat at the bar which was most interesting. Some very unique local color was present. The staff was great. The ribs and pasta salad rocked. Great especially for such a small town.
