Fun place, good service

There was a group of 11 of us for dinner. The service was good, food was good, fun place. The waitress and waiter were funny and attentive. They had specials for Cinco de Mayo.

We were delightfully surprised by this little place. The menu was varied with all the usual bar-food items, and several daily specials that you could tell were crafted by the cook. We had the pulled pork sandwich, which was hands-down the best ever pulled pork. Sooooo moist and tasty. The salad was fantastic--fresh, beautiful greens with a really cheesy blue... More

We stayed in town for one night and went to the Cowboys Blues for dinner. Waitress: funny, quick and made good recommendations ( soup of the day and bread pudding) Food: what can I say... just everything was yummy! We had the homemade soup of the day, the Cowboy Salade and the dish of the day which was Filet Mignon... More

The food here is good and plentiful, the margaritas very tasty, the atmosphere fun, the service uneven. We had good service, but others were waiting a while.

One of the best places I have ever eaten! Fabulous food. I had the stake and shrimp special. Was amazing. People were so friendly. Felt like we were family. Can't wait to go back. This place is a MUST stop at to eat when you are in Escalante!

This was our favourite restaurant in Escalante, with an excellent choice foodies and traditionalist. It's old-west diner style with upmarket food available.

It's our favorite place to eat in Escalante, Utah. Home-cooked food, friendly staff and wonderful food. Our favorites: Jalapeno Bean Dip - Blues Burger - FlatIron Steak - Baked Trout. They've added two new items and a new website with their menu http://www.wildwestretreat.net/group-dining/cowboy-blues. Also, new wait people. Only 4*'s? Nobody's perfect.

After a wonderful day at Devil's Garden, the end result would be nice dinner. Also one of few choice in town. Service surly, had a pork sandwich, dry, rubbery broccoli, where the waitress just put more BBQ on it. Not willing to give another choice or try it a second time

This restaurant was very expensive, had very limited selections and served the food barely warm. We ordered ribs and chicken dishes that tasted like they had been warned over. Portions were extremely small, and the vegetables were unappetizing. One person in our party ordered a cheeseburger for about $9. When it was served it was smashed as though someone had... More
