Service?

After a wonderful day at Devil's Garden, the end result would be nice dinner. Also one of few choice in town. Service surly, had a pork sandwich, dry, rubbery broccoli, where the waitress just put more BBQ on it. Not willing to give another choice or try it a second time

This restaurant was very expensive, had very limited selections and served the food barely warm. We ordered ribs and chicken dishes that tasted like they had been warned over. Portions were extremely small, and the vegetables were unappetizing. One person in our party ordered a cheeseburger for about $9. When it was served it was smashed as though someone had... More

While this isn't the fanciest place, nor do they have tons of food options, they have great basic items with a home cooked flavor. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy with local western decor. The night we stumbled upon this place, we met the very welcoming owner and there was a local guitar player setting the mood with live country... More

Beautiful rustic setting. Food was good, The background music was a bit annoying though. Can't say much else.

We ate at this restaurant at the recommendation of our motel in Escalante. She said a newer restaurant had a better rating but the locals prefer Cowboy Blues over that restaurant. We looked at the menu of that other restaurant, but it did not appeal to us so we went across the street to Cowboy Blues. The waitress was friendly... More

We happened upon this gem during a road trip in 2009. Great food, friendly service and townsfolk. I had a quesadilla as big as my head with lots of fixins. I hope we get back out that way one day and we will definitely stop back in :)

The food was good here but the waiter is arrogant. We will not go back. The burgers and pulled pork are very good as are the fries. They are big enough for a dinner meal especially with fries and a salad or an appetizer. hey will not get repeat customers until they change waiters. Not a fancy place thats for... More

Utah seems filled to the brims with underpaid over worked or certainly overwhelmed waitresses....but in 50 odd yrs of eating out...this gal wins the shrug oh well prize! 'Dunno' with a smile was the number one answer used to every from ingredients, to timing, to entertainment. Ordered the smoked chicken but 'it wasn't cooked yet'....about a hour later upon leaving... Stayed in Escalante for two days and while there stopped in Cowboy Blues for dinner. My husband and I had the ribeye steak that was prepared as ordered and was delicious. Chocolate brownie with ice cream to top it off. Nice local place, with good service. A very nice meal. Price can vary from moderate to high. It you're in... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are glad they did. A neat little restaurant with an upbeat décor with music. They have a nice range of items on the menu to choose and the prices range on what you want. I had a steak and my wife ordered the chicken. Both dishes were good. Patrick was our waiter who... More
