We drove by a few times accessing local hikes and finally took the time to stop in. It was an experience without regret. We were able to try some amazing tamales and washed them down with good craft coffee. The building itself is worth stopping to see. There is a great selection of locally made gifts to bring home. We... More

We were really excited to visit this place when planning our road trip. It's truely in the middle of nowhere and looked like our kind of place. (Good Coffee in a nice, scenic setting) The coffee was OK, the scenery limited, the prices high. The vibe was decidedly Academic, Liberal, Pretentious and not too friendly. We drank our coffee and... The scenery is so perfect it looks fake! The baked good made on site are awesome. A perfect treat after a hike!

breakfast on the patio was fantastic. Menu is small but it is a coffee house. Eggs, toast, and bacon on the terrace overlooking the red rocks of southern Utah. Need I say more?

This place was a great surprise for us. You can’t really expect good coffee and gourmet cakes in the middle of nowhere but this is exactly what this place has to offer. Add magnificent view and you got irresistible combination. You absolutely must stop there while driving Hwy 12.

It is located on the side of a road, close to nothing. The view can be hypnotizing, and is easy to love the ambiance of the location. The building is cool also since it is built into the side of a cliff with large wood pole supports and wall of windows. grade A. The service person sported an attitude and... More

Don't miss this stop! We stopped for breakfast on the way through. The bacon was the thickest I have ever seen at a restaurant. As I was eating my bacon and eggs, I wondered why my daughter was eating her oatmeal pancakes without syrup -until I tried a bite -wow! were they good! Great place with great window views

Enjoyed this delightful restaurant with lovely views. Had a delicious salad that was tastefully presented. Good coffee and friendly service. Watch for the sign so you don't miss the turnoff to the parking area.

Food and gas is few and far between in the area but this was a nice stop for coffee and a handmade cinnamon roll. You can't beat the scenery. The canyons are all around. Stop, stretch your legs, have a snack and enjoy the view.

Were clued in to this place by our neighbors from the Circle D Motel. It was about halfway between Escalante and Boulder. Kept thinking we MUST have passed it-but we kept going, and finally, there it was! Snugged into the side of a hill, there were floor to ceiling windows all around the rounded wall of the restaurant. We were... More
