convenient location, good service

After a log day hiking in Bryce we just weren't up to waiting until we could drive back to Kanab for dinner, so we stopped in at Fosters. We visited here in April, on a family trip with 78 to 12 year olds. The service was very friendly and accommodating. it was late afternoon, so the place wasn't busy for lunch, or dinner yet. The restaurant isn't much to talk about, but the food filled us up. My son and I shared the fried chicken, which came with... More

Wow what a meal. The restaurant does not look like much from the outside but we were so glad we stopped. We read the other reviews and decided to give Fosters a try. We had the steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Bacon was wrapped around the steak. This meal was over the top. The servings were very large and... More

Great diner with good menu selection. Soup was delicious but the pies were fabulous. Fast friendly service. Enjoyable.

Average looking restaurant but great food. Excellent salads and a great meal. Service was excellent . Better than Ruby's high prices

Our hopes were not high when we visited as the standard of food in this part of the world is, on average, the worst we have ever found anywhere in the world. We chose a simple option not wanting to spend a lot of money and be disappointed. The beef dip was pretty tasty and the potato and macaroni salads... More

I had Fried Chicken and my Hubby had some rice dish.... Chicken was dry dry dry..... His rice was hard hard! The only thing good there was the mushrooms and garlic bread..... The waitress was extremely nice... Host Either didn't speak english or didn't care. I would never recommend to anyone. And the PIES are NOT homemade!

We came here for dinner on 4/8 and it was moderately busy. The service was great and our party of 3 enjoyed the food. I had the ribeye, my husband had the prime rib, and my daughter had the all you can eat soup and salad bar. We all left very satisfied!

As others have mentioned, options for just about everything around Bryce Canyon are limited during the off-season, November-May. This was one of the few restaurants open during our stay in March, but was by no means a disappointment. The menu has a nice variety of choices for adults and kids. The trout, burger and Patty Melt were all tasty and... More

If you're visiting Bryce Canyon in November-April, expect minimal options for restaurants and hotels. We visited Foster's because the food at Ruby's is so overpriced and bland. Fosters is a little farther from the Canyon, but still a close enough drive to most of the hotels. Foster's was really quite average. They offered a couple healthy options, but nothing to... More
