At first I was a bit intimidated at being directly served by this chef, who is amazing and quite direct. He is very interested in getting you what you want, so don't be afraid to be specific or give him a challenge. He's up to it! Although he lets you know what is on his mind! The last time I... More

and walked away having one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We were traveling for business and when one of my co-workers suggested eating here and explained the food, I was immediately resistant. I was outvoted and so glad I was. The food is prepared fresh. the chef visits the table, and makes you feel at... More

This is by far the best restaurant in terms of food in Davis County. Chef Hai is very personable and one of the few that will actually visit with you during the meal. Entrees are served with crisp salads house dressing(which is to die for) with always the right amount. The meat is always tender, properly seasoned and cooked to... More

To be fair the first time my husband and I ate here we really liked it. The chef was charming and the food good. We decided to go there for Valentine's Day for their "Lobster Night" a few years back and help support a local business. We were so appalled at the bad food and service (not to mention being... More

It cracks me up to read the reviews of people who obviously don't "get" this experience. How can some people love it, and some people hate it? Haters are gonna hate. Chef Hai is a knucklehead. If you want a menu and an orthodox experience, I'd recommend Applebee's or some other cookie-cutter place. If you want a totally off-the-wall experience,... More

Our first visit during the week was a positive experience, My wife and I sat at the bar, talked and watched the Chef prepare our food. The crowd was sparse. Had the salmon, which was very good. Went with my wife and it was overall a fun experience, pleasant food - open table style. Based on that experience we thought... More

If you have a sense of adventure when it comes to food and dining then this is the place for you. Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Thyme and Seasons. While the decor is rather eclectic and not at all trendy, the atmosphere was electric. Sitting at the counter enabled us to watch Chef Hai in action.... More

My personal opinion, the Décor is poor, the dining even worse, and it’s not particularly clean. The two times I have eaten there, I disliked the food. The first time, I had the Thai Stir-fry and detested it. But thought maybe this dish just wasn’t to my liking. So I gave the restaurant a second chance. Big Mistake, the second... More

We enjoyed a dinner with friends and all had quite different dishes from the menu. Overall we enjoyed our experience. I noted he had spareribs on the menu. They were not bad but they are not such I would order them again. I am sure there are other dishes to try. The ribs had a sweet pepper jelly sauce and... More

Chef Hai's restaurant is unlike anything you have likely been to. First of all, there is no menu. When you walk in to the restaurant Chef Hai will ask you what your allergies are and what you would like to eat. In our group of four we had one Celiac Disease (needs gluten-free), one fish-hater, one who wanted something Thai... More
