Beautiful location. Ate there two nights. Waitpersons friendly, had a love of their area. Veggies best ever along with lemon mashed potatoes. Dinner flavoring complex, sometimes too much so. Recommend it highly.

On top of the mountain on the edge of nowhere is this jewel of a restaurant. Great staff that could not wait to serve your every needs. Nice spice treatment and great presentation. I had dinner and breakfast here. Both were equally as good.

We were very disappointed. There were too many flies buzzing around for my liking, and the great chunks of oatmeal-molasses bread that were served with my wife's breakfast gave her serious indigestion for the rest of the day. Service was aloof and somewhat indifferent, and I have to say the place has a kind of creepy aura about it. In... More

A real treat to get to have breakfasts and dinner here while staying at the Boulder Mountain Lodge. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the produce raised on the restaurant's farm just 3 miles down the road.

Well let me begin by telling you that we reached this restaurant from "the scenic route" starting at Capitol Reef NP then driving through the vast expanses of Escalante wilderness, up some amazing unpaved switchbacks to come out on the back side of Boulder (an easier approach would have been to take rout 12) so by the time we got... Thrilled to find such a jewel in the small town of Boulder. Had a fun time with the server and absolutely loved the food. Tasted great and had a sophisticated menu.

Wow! What a lovely surprise in literally the middle of nowhere. Boulder is perhaps two blocks long. We were heading to our B&B in Tropic during our drive from Moab, and the owners recommended we stop at this restaurant for lunch. The setting is great, the service so nice and the food was top notch. If you are going through... More

Great, imaginative, natural sourced food in Boulder, Utah. Small town but artsy/new agey vibe that is not totally wacky. Had the BLT (focaccia, a little cream cheese, sundried tomato jam and applewood smoked bacon). Delicious and everything else looked equally good. A few bucks above average for small town southern Utah but well worth the totally tranquil setting and top... More

Wow! We were so impressed with our dinner and breakfast here. The staff was excellent. Local sourcing including produce from the on-site garden contribute to the outstanding food. I'll always remember the blue corn pancakes, and my son loved the scramble. I bought the restaurant cookbook and am eager to try some of the recipes.
