Upscale Dining in Historic Bluff... Enjoy the charm of a rustic, old trading post with exposed timber and beam ceilings, clay plastered cob walls, and Navajo and Anasazi inspired murals and floors. Antique lights and local art add to the warmth and romantic ambience of this distinctly western historic building. What started as a lovingly restored trading post with a coffee bar serving our celebrated European style espresso, has turned into a full service restaurant with award-winning wines, fine dining, patio dining in spring and summer, and a warm wood stove in the winter. Chef Szczodrowski prepares the freshest foods with the most flavorful local ingredients. A cozy restaurant and gallery for friends to gather and enjoy sweeping views of canyon country, Comb Ridge is a unique Four Corners experience.

Thank you so much for your kind review. Its challenging for a small, rural, seasonal business like ours to choose humane and local foods, so its wonderful to hear how appreciated it is :) More

Comb Ridge Coffee has a new chef who prepared an excellent meal. Coffee is the best in the west and the service is great.

If they are open they have the best blue corn pancakes in the world. However, their hours seem to change weekly. I once asked their hours and was told they were open 7 days a week. I went the next Sunday and Monday and both times they were closed. This is one of two places to eat in Bluff and... More

Thank you for your kind mention of our bluecorn pancakes. I am sorry we were not open for breakfast today. One of our morning cooks has been out with a cold for a week and our chef was working 16 hour plus days to cover those shifts. We are a triple bottom line business: people, the environment (land and animals),... More

Recommended by hotel staff where we were staying. Was told to order blue corn pancakes. They were absolutely wonderful and well worth the price. Coffee was also ground fresh as we ordered it.

Had a Sunday morning breakfast at Comb Ridge. Person behind the counter was alone when we arrived and extremely busy, so left on our own it took a moment or two to figure out what to do (i.e., get a menu, place an order, and find a seat). Coffee was the best we had on the trip, and we both... More

and the coffee is good. They seem a bit frazzled when even moderately busy, but they do aim to please. They kindly made us eggs over easy though they usually stick to scrambled. I'm not big on pancakes but my husband and friend liked them so much we went back again the next day. The menu is limited though. If... More

Thank you for your review. I am a little curious how you define "full breakfast". We offer eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt, granola, muffins, pies, pancakes, toast, bagels. In addition to our breakfast we also offer italian style espresso, espresso based drinks, chai, teas.... And an assortment of other beverages. We actually pull off quite a bit for such a small... On the 9th day of my journey through the deserts of southern Utah and northern Arizona, I was convinced that I had been condemned to a personal hell of reheated industrial food and salad bars from 1982. My wife and I longed for real food, and we even skipped breakfast at our hotel in Monument Valley in hopes of stumbling... More

I'd say that it was the most delicious breakfast during our 2,5 week of holidays! I've had the blue corn pancakes, which were the best pancakes I've had so far! My husband had the egg and cheese sandwich, which was also very tasty. I can't comment about coffee, as we don't drink it, but the mango smoothies we've had were... More

We stayed at the Desert Rose Inn, just across the street which does not provide breakfasts (see my review on this nice hotel). Very discret wooden shed along US 191. Nice decoration (outside and inside), nice and relaxed ambiance. Fresh organic food, true Coffee's Espresso's, incredible blue corn pancakes! Discret staff. A really good surprise and nice way to start... More
