When you travel between Moab and Monument Valley, I strongly recommend you try this restaurant. The food was simply great, (-we ordered navajo taco, and beef stew and fry bread) and even better, they were not expensive. After your meal, twin rocks and the restaurant could be a good background for pictures.

The gift shop had some great books. The sandwiches were good and served on different kind of bread. Enjoyed our lunch there.

We stopped here on our way from Four Corners to Monument Valley. The restaurant wasnt busy, but very welcoming. It got busier as time went on. The waitresses were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. I had one of the best meals on the whole trip, slices of beef in native flatbread with fries and salad, it was delicious and... More

We went later at night so it wasn't busy. The food looked good but had little flavor. The service was great. I just went there because we had driven from LA that day and needed food after 11 hours of driving. I think its the best place around because there is nothing around bluff. The bathrooms were not clean and... More

Dear Mr./Mrs/Ms. Bubbles. I am sorry you did not have a good experience at Twin Rocks Cafe. I think you must have misunderstood us. What many people from metropolitan areas seem to overlook is that we are not in the middle of nowhere, we are in the middle of everywhere. We feel this is one of the most beautiful places... More

Good Service, good and plenty of food. Their shop has some interesting local souvenirs and decorative items as well as clothing. Seems to be where the locals go.

We stumbled upon this place even though it did not show up on our GPS car system. It was just past our turn onto 162. The Twin Rocks (LOOK UP) are right there. It was clean and our server was friendly. A lot on the menu. Ordered a hamburger and beef stew on fry bread. Yummy! The fry bread came... More

Good food, and lots of it, in a cross between a cafe and a trading post. Even good beer, though just a small selection (for Utah, this is great!)

Thanks for the nice review. Yes, you are correct, alcohol service in Utah is a challenge. More

Bad food and overpriced: Husband's "10 oz" ribeye did not measure up and consisted mostly of fat and gristle. I had the flavorless shrimp taco special accompanied by dull cilantro rice and an awful recipe of avacado-corn salsa. I wondered how such a variety of colorful ingredients could combine to create this dull tasting, dreary meal. Later, I woke at... More

Dear HomerHater, This is a difficult review to address, since the steak and especially the shrimp taco special are favorites. I have never had anyone refer to the cilantro/spinach rice and the avocado corn salsa as dull, and the tacos generally receive rave reviews. If, however, you were truly unhappy, the manager would have happily done what he/she could to... More

The road from Salt Lake City to Bluff, Utah is LONG and you will get hungry. Once you get into this part of Utah expect all the towns on the map to be a collections of small homes with a water tower boldly stating the town name. Please keep your car fueled up, water by the gallon and bring many... More
