Eat at this "only restaurant in town"

Very friendly service, excellent food at very reasonable prices. We ate both breakfast and dinner at this cafe and would return again when in the area. Clean and simple setting right on main street of town.

Since it is the only restaurant in town opened in the morning it gets very crowded with the motel is right next door. So count in some waiting time when things are busy. Meals are good and rich for a fair rate. Hygiene could be a little bit better but goes on the account of busy bussiness as said before... More

Despite the fact that this is only one of two restaurants in Bicknell, we made an excellent choice! "Black & Bleu" burger was outstanding, as was the "regular" burger. You'll see the Motel sign before you realize there's a restaurant there!

Only restaurant in town, but worth the visit. Young staff but did a good job. Food was fresh and flavorful. Intrigued by the pies, but trying to avoid sweets at the moment.

We arrived at the Sunglow at 8pm and were surprised how busy it was, or had been. We were able to find a clean table and had no sooner sat down when the waitress came for our drink orders. Very efficient indeed. The menu had lots of choices, but quite limited if you are vegetarian (which we are not). My... More

In the late 1980s we stayed at the motel and ate at the cafe, and an intriguing item on the menu then was Pinto Bean pie. I didn't try it then, but when we ate there in Oct 2014, I was happy to find it was still on the menu. We tried it, and while it might sound awful, it... More

Closes at 8:30 so you must get there by 8. Our entree's were good. Nothing to rant and rave about. Better than average, very good is pushing it. The pies, however, were interesting. We purchased the sampler which was a good choice. It had the Buttermilk, Oatmeal, Pinto Bean and Pickle samples. We each had our favorites (I loved the... More

Excellent meal. Tried the touted pickle pie and pinto bean pie. (Actually we had the 4 pie sampler for $6.95. Well worth it.) Food and service were excellent and that brought us back for breakfast the next morning. Each of us got the French toast with home made bread and a piece of ham. Only negative was the ham. Waitress... More

Had a breakfast which was good. Have never had a small restaurant take an order with a tablet device ( hi tech ). Nothing special but service was good and food fine. Just a pleasant and quiet breakfast.
