Tasty meal

Stayed overnight in Beaver and restaurant had been recommended by person at the motel. He said it was good home cooking at a reasonable price, and he was right. My husband had the chicken fried steak, and I had chicken. Both were delicious. We didn't try dessert but they sounded good. I would... read more

Heading north on I-15 to Idaho we wanted a stop away from fast food. We had been to this little cafe long ago and found it as good as we remembered. I had a fab pot roast plate with great mashed potatoes and knockout gravy. The wife had a big bowl of clam chowder also very good. Then we shared... More

Looking for dinner when arrived in Beaver on a one night stop over driving from AZ to ID. The service was prompt and the food hot. For a very small town, it was a nice change from fast food joint.

Myself and my wife both had the steak sandwich. My wife had french fries and i had the chicken noodle soup. The soup was very unique. The noodles were thick and very starchy but the quality of the broth made up for it. The steak was a little tough but very tasty and my wife enjoyed the fires. The coffee was the... More

We were informed about this restaurant by the front desk at our motel. Because it is a mom and pop kind of restaurant, there was only one waitress serving everyone and playing the role of cashier as well. We sat ourselves and then we waited for almost 20 minutes before the waitress even came to the table. The menu selection... More

Much better to drive a little further off the freeway ad go somewhere that is not a chain fast food restaurant passing through Beaver. The food was good and the service was excellent. I heard the pies were really good. We will have to try then next time.

We ordered the club sandwich and soup. The people were very friendly and the food was great. Kinda had a homely feeling. I recommend them!

Dined at Arshel's on our stayover in Beaver. Enjoyed the cozy atmoshere of this "mom and pop" restaurant which has been serving customers for over 50 years. Homey, friendly environment and excellent hamburgers, especially the mushroom-Swiss, as well as a generous amount of delicious fries. Reasonably priced fare.
