It's worth driving in off of I-15 and eating here. We ate there for breakfast and it was great food!

Small cafe off the freeway. Arshels has very good chicken fried steak and also a pecan honey chicken breast that is very tasty. Soups and pies are home made, the peanut butter chocolate pie is delicious as is the grape nut pudding. Service can't be beat!

I've been in several times with my family. Each time we were greeted, orders taken, and food served not only in timely matter, but with a smile. Great food, excellent service, and decent prices. I would recommend this place to anyone driving through Beaver.

Arshel’s isn’t up to even our sometimes lax standards. I hate to put down small local places but that is the point of these reviews to ferret out the good from the bad. From the outside the place itself seems to be okay but inside the food and service was sorely lacking. The server lacked even the minimal social skills... More

Worth the 1/2 mile trip into town rather than just hitting some boring place out by the interstate. Good no-pretense food at a very reasonable price. The place looks like it hasn't changed in about 50 years. Clean and nice. Staff was pleasant but a little indifferent. Great pot roast and chicken fried steak. This is not the kind of... More

I pulled up at the bachelor bar since I was traveling solo, and the ladies working there were very friendly. I had some chicken strips and fries which were delicious and hit the spot, and I was out of there in no time. Very quick and friendly service. The dessert looked great but I was too full to get any.... More

French Toast was good. Waitress was slow and brought out one plate/order at a time for our party of four. We asked for two extra plates to share some of our french toast with the family and were very disappointed when we saw our bill! They charged us an extra $2.00 just for the empty plates! The waitress didn't even... More

The waitress was in serious need of training in customer service social skills. It was obviously a struggle for her to communicate any sort of friendliness or make one feel welcome. Maybe it is a Mormon thing attempting to communicate with a heathen gentile.

This restaurant was OK for me as a vegan, but my options were not very healthy. The garden salad was iceberg lettuce and one piece of tomato only. I was able to get a good baked potato. I asked for a side of mushrooms but they only gave me a few. I got a side of the only vegetable of... More

Over boiled string beans a la English cooking thirty years ago. Over dressed ice berg lettuce. Good fried chicken, and a very jolly and obliging wait staff. This is far from gourmet cooking, but you won't starve.
