I pulled up at the bachelor bar since I was traveling solo, and the ladies working there were very friendly. I had some chicken strips and fries which were delicious and hit the spot, and I was out of there in no time. Very quick and friendly service. The dessert looked great but I was too full to get any.... More

French Toast was good. Waitress was slow and brought out one plate/order at a time for our party of four. We asked for two extra plates to share some of our french toast with the family and were very disappointed when we saw our bill! They charged us an extra $2.00 just for the empty plates! The waitress didn't even... More

The waitress was in serious need of training in customer service social skills. It was obviously a struggle for her to communicate any sort of friendliness or make one feel welcome. Maybe it is a Mormon thing attempting to communicate with a heathen gentile.

This restaurant was OK for me as a vegan, but my options were not very healthy. The garden salad was iceberg lettuce and one piece of tomato only. I was able to get a good baked potato. I asked for a side of mushrooms but they only gave me a few. I got a side of the only vegetable of... More

Over boiled string beans a la English cooking thirty years ago. Over dressed ice berg lettuce. Good fried chicken, and a very jolly and obliging wait staff. This is far from gourmet cooking, but you won't starve.

My husband and I remembered stopping several years ago while traveling through the area. We must have had breakfast that time. We arrived just after they stopped serving breakfast. I ordered the fish and chips and a salad. Salad was clearly from a bag and bottled dressing. Fries were pre frozen processed and so was the fish. My husband had... More

Beaver, UT, is a one street town and this place is small but a gem for breakfast!!! The BEST French Toast (if you could not already tell from the description above) EVER! Their sausage and bacon were the real deal as well. Good coffee and they make their own pies! I have no experience with any other meal than breakfast... More

We like others wanted something better than fast food.We ordered the fried chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes gravy the usual suspects.Well the chicken was warm on the outside and ice cold inside! How do you pull that off? Mashed potatoes were cold also and canned green beans even if the food had been the proper temp it was "Meh" to... More

OK, it's a throw back cafe (that takes credit cards), but the service was great, the food was real and the menu has stood the test of time.

On the way to St. George and really wasn't interested in chain fast food. Decided to give this place a try. Outside is nothing to impress but don't let that deter you. I got French Toast and Bacon. The French toast was good not great. Better than the French fries I may have gotten someplace else however. The Bacon is... More
