When you enter the shop you are bombarded with high quality baked goods. The cookies and cupcakes are absolutely delicious. My favorite offering are their savory breakfast croissants; rich, buttery and with several choices of fillings. Yum!

There is nothing I dislike about the Sugar Shack! They provide cakes for the Wimberley Cafe, and no matter how full I am after my lunch, I can't resist ordering a piece of cake if it's just come in from the Sugar Shack. The new location just off the square in Wimberley is an easy drop-in for scones or holiday... More

It was packed on Thanksgiving weekend's Saturday morning but we got in and enjoyed a very good breakfast, reasonably priced with good service.

If you've had a good meal at the Leaning Pear, but you're too full for dessert, stop here to take something home. Good selection. We bought a caramel brownie and ginger bar. The brownie was outstanding and my husband and I shared - definitely enough to settle the sweet craving. My husband comment it was the best he had ever... More

So many gorgeous treats to choose from and very good coffee. Cinnamon rolls were some of the best we've tasted.

The food, music, atmosphere, and margaritas are good! The service is good and a perfect place to rest after a day of shopping.

My wife and I hit this place for a quick breakfast one morning. It was clean and quiet with a large selection. We decided on the scones and ate them outside on the patio while enjoying the morning. Scones were large and loaded with blueberries. Worth the time and the money. Cakes and pies looked great, but we just needed... More

This is in the old Leaning Pear location, a nice stop after lunch. They had so many gluten free selections more than any bakery I have visited and it is exceptional. We bought a selection of items that were gluten free and some not gluten free. My husband like chocolate and I bought him several cookies (these were not gluten... More

Oh, MY! We stopped by for this is supposedly "the in place" to stop by in Wimberley. The selection was so broad, it was hard to make a decision...we finally did with the Italian Cream Cake Balls. I took on bite and thought I was in heaven!!! Prices are high at this place.

Cute cute new location and friendly staff. I was so happy to see several choices of gluten free products; no-flour cake, pastries, cookies, candy and cupcakes. Everything I have tried has been excellent and very flavorful. My favorite is the almond horn. It is shaped liked a horse shoe made of almonds and the ends are dipped in chocolate! Yum... More
