Our landmark building has served as a gathering place and restaurant since 1937. We offer a variety of hill country comfort food, a full bar and live music in The Buzzard Bar, every weekend. Dine on our covered patio in the back where friendly dogs are always welcome! Our annual Crawfish Boil in May with live music all day on the outdoor stage is not to be missed. This past year we collected donations for The Boot Campaign that assists our military veterans with family needs and aid. Please visit our website for daily specials, menus and a complete band line up. Lots of parking in our back lot. Open seven days a week. Hope to see you soon!

Great food and lots of it!

We were a group of 13 and the young man who waited on us was great! He got our orders accurately, kept us happy and was truly patient with our indecision(s).

And as a local I can tell you that this is the best place in town for a beer and good company. The prime rib sandwich is actually really good... well, most things are. If you are passing through town, head over to this place. Go sit out back at the open area bar. Its worth the visti

Had lunch on the back patio since the weather was beautiful. Had the monday lunch special which was meatloaf. It was grilled and tasted wonderful. Could choose between mushroom gravy or a spicy pepper gravy. Was amazed by the serving size for lunch. It was a large portion and waitress said dinner was double the size which would be too... More

We've been to this restaurant three times over the last year and it hasn't failed to impress us. The service is excellent and the food is delicious and fresh. We especially enjoy the chicken fried steak, mahi burger, and fish & chips. And the cinnamon pecan bread pudding is absolutely incredible. All portions are generous and we are always very... More

These people know how to fry food really well -- chicken fried steak, fried chicken tenders, fried okra, onion rings, or fried green tomatoes are tasty and crunchy. All the food is homemade including the very tasty ranch dressing. Enjoyed the food and friendly service very much.

While enjoying the atmosphere of Wimberly we searched for a great dining experience and found it when we ate at Cypress Creek Cafe. The restaurant is housed in a historic building that has gone through many uses, finally becoming the present restaurant. The restaurant itself is equiped with solid wood pedstal tables and tastefully decorated with Santa's in window wells... More

I hope that we caught the Cafe on a bad day. If not they are surviving on the fact that a lot of people visit wimberley and have to eat at the limited choices available. When we arrived there were a lot of folks waiting for a table. There was three servers working the dining room. However, they had to... More

I would like to apologize for your experience at our cafe. We were understaffed due to illness and the staff on duty were doing the best they could. I sincerely hope you will give us another try the next time you are in Wimberley. We always try to be better than we have to be, but some situations are beyond... More

Food was average. But they did have some good selections and did a fair job on things. Just go there and enjoy the building and atmosphere and the fact you didn't have to cook. German chocolate cake was just OK - but the Italian cream cake is worth a repeat visit.
