Our landmark building has served as a gathering place and restaurant since 1937. We offer a variety of hill country comfort food, a full bar and live music in The Buzzard Bar, every weekend. Dine on our covered patio in the back where friendly dogs are always welcome! Our annual Crawfish Boil in May with live music all day on the outdoor stage is not to be missed. This past year we collected donations for The Boot Campaign that assists our military veterans with family needs and aid. Please visit our website for daily specials, menus and a complete band line up. Lots of parking in our back lot. Open seven days a week. Hope to see you soon!

Chicken fried steak heaven

This is my favorite place to go for well prepared chicken fried steak and healthy vegetables. I have never had anything here that wasn't good. There is also a great bar with live music.

Food was edible, less than remarkable. Slow, poor service was the biggest drawback. Ate there on 2 occasions for breakfast & lunch, neither recommended. Again, was OK, just not exceptional.

We ate at this restaurant twice in one day because it was so good! The fried green tomatoes were delicious. My husband enjoyed the Hippie Burger while I had the yummy Texas Cobb Wrap. We both LOVED the asparagus! Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I visited Cypress Creek for a late lunch after a tour at Bella Vista Ranch. Cypress Creek is very relaxed and casual. I thought it was weird that they didn't have a single wine on their menu from the area, so we both ordered beer. The food was bar food, but it was fast, and I enjoyed... More

We tried this spot last Friday for a late lunch. It was pretty busy, but it was also a beautiful day and everyone wanted to sit outside. There was only one waiter serving the bar and the outdoor area, and he was swamped. He was kind of complaining that he was the only one there. When we were almost done... More

Large cafe for the area. I believe they have live music at times. The first issue was I asked for hot tea and the cup had lipstick on it. Three of us ordered meals that had regular fries and sweet potato fries. All were luke warm. I am a person who really salts food so I like salt. The pulled... More

We were a group of 13 and the young man who waited on us was great! He got our orders accurately, kept us happy and was truly patient with our indecision(s).

And as a local I can tell you that this is the best place in town for a beer and good company. The prime rib sandwich is actually really good... well, most things are. If you are passing through town, head over to this place. Go sit out back at the open area bar. Its worth the visti

Had lunch on the back patio since the weather was beautiful. Had the monday lunch special which was meatloaf. It was grilled and tasted wonderful. Could choose between mushroom gravy or a spicy pepper gravy. Was amazed by the serving size for lunch. It was a large portion and waitress said dinner was double the size which would be too... More
