The food and the service were great. A fried and I had spent the weekend in Wimberley for the Market Days and shopping. We stopped in on Sunday for lunch on our way out of town and it was fabulous.

I met a friend for an early lunch, during the week and pretty much had the place to ourselves. I ordered a cup of tortilla soup and a baked potato. The soup was good. Next time I will not order the potato. It was average and not worth the price. I noticed when I was there that they have improved... More

Don't know which is better, the TX Lemonade made with Tito's Vodka or the homemade chicken salad sandwich...they go well together. A must try when in town. Enjoy.

First off the service is amazing. I've waited tables for years and I have to say Evan might be the best server I've ever seen. He's fast, gives great suggestions and is super attentive. Now, on to the food. You absolutely have to try the ribeye, get it medium rare with the mashed potatoes and asparagus. MMmmm. They even have... More

Food is normally good. Food was not spectacular. I suspect large crowd overwhelmed kitchen. Restaurant was at capacity when we arrived. Waited 15 minutes.

I have been to the Café several times since moving to Wimberley in June, and each time my party was seated promptly and orders taken and served in a timely manner. The food is quite good and served hot. The portions are huge....even if you get the 1/2 order, you will be stuffed. The chicken fried steak is delicious, served... More

Had a nice dessert with hot cocoa out on their back covered patio. Lots of TV's to watch sports. Only negative (for us) was the cigarette smoke from other patrons, but at least it was outside. Their German chocolate cake was wonderful!

We waited 40 minutes for appetizers. The waiter had an "I don't care attitude." When we got our appetizers they were cold, Luke warm at best. Waiter didn't apologize but passed the buck and blamed kitchen help. Seriously, you check on customers and food. I waited tables for years, this is unacceptable. Never again will we eat there.

I would like to apologize for the service you received during your visit with us. The service you received was totally unacceptable even on busy days. It would help me to address this problem by knowing who your server was. We strive to have the best service and food at all times. Thank you for making me aware of this... More

Nothing great about this restaurant. We chose this one based on the reviews and the variety of menu items. The chicken fried steak, fried okra, and onion rings were okay. 1/2 pound burger? It must've been fatty meat as the patty was not that big after it was cooked. It had a good smokey flavor, but for ten bucks, I... More

Stooped in on Friday night and greeted and seated promptly. Server was friendly and maybe a bit too attentive. The place wasn't packed so its understandable. Food was good with a good flavor. I had blackened catfish and shrimp, small portion of fish for price. My wife had the 1/2 CFS and it was OK. Overall, nice place, good food,... More
