Our landmark building has served as a gathering place and restaurant since 1937. We offer a variety of hill country comfort food, a full bar and live music in The Buzzard Bar, every weekend. Dine on our covered patio in the back where friendly dogs are always welcome! Our annual Crawfish Boil in May with live music all day on the outdoor stage is not to be missed. This past year we collected donations for The Boot Campaign that assists our military veterans with family needs and aid. Please visit our website for daily specials, menus and a complete band line up. Lots of parking in our back lot. Open seven days a week. Hope to see you soon!

My son was in town and he said he had a sandwich the last time he visited that was the best sandwich he has ever had. I quizzed him on several to try and figure it out and when I said the Texan his eyes lit up and he said I want that again. Therefore we were off to the... More

We ate out on their patio. Ordered the queso and combo quesadillas. Both were very good. Service was decent and atmosphere was fun.

Great food, especially the fried green tomatoes and prime rib sandwich. Didn't get to stay long enough to hear the music, but Penny and the Jets looked fun.

Ate lunch here while shopping Wimberley. Food as basic but decent. Skip the fried green tomatoes--they were greasy and didn't have much flavor. My wife had a Texas chef salad wrap with fries that was very good. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Chicken fried steak was OK but I've had better lots of other... CFS was mostly crust and a bit chewy. The wife had a wrap that she thought good but there was nthing special about either of our meals. On the other hand, the service was very good.

Take a back roads drive and end up in this lovely little town. There are many choices of places to eat, but we chose this spot on this trip. Our meal was delicious and then walking around the town made it for a great outing.

We found this restaurant a couple of years ago while visiting in Wimberly. "Found" is correct as there is not much of any kind of restaurant entrance. We even questioned if it was open. It's adjacent to the main parking area. The food exceeded expectations each trip. Their Texas Pasta is so good with a creme sauce that has a... More
