The BBLT and baked potato soup was great! Got there just as they opened and we were served by great staff. Stop by and try it!

We stayed in Wimberley for a long weekend and went to the The Leaning Pear twice because it was great! Loved the atmosphere, we sat outside in August, in the treehouse area, and we were comfortable. Had a tuna sandwich one day and had a breakfast meal the next. Both were tasty and filling! The service was so fast and... More

While this place offers a very nice meal with great atmosphere it is somewhat pricey. But, that's not too unexpected when finding a little gem like this tucked away in a small quaint town in the heart of the hill country. Definitely worth a try!

This place is so yummy! It is family friendly, kid friendly and pet friendly. This is our second time eating here. This time we tried their queso...which is not like regular queso at all...it has kale and gouda, is more like a artichoke dip. All of their sandwiches are amazing...We have never had a bad meal here at all. You... More

This restaurant moved to a new and larger location about a year ago. The food is even better than before. The chef is very creative such as with a market pizza made with cauliflower cream, preserved lemon and currants. It absolutely worked. They also have local beers and a decent wine list. I had a buttermilk panna cotta for dessert... More

I eat at Leaning Pear every week or 2 with friends or by myself. Their dishes are simple, but eclectic, offering mainly soups, salads & sandwiches...all fabulous, with a different, creative flare than most restaurants. They have amazing pizzas cooked in the pizza oven & their crabs cakes are the best I ever had. Staff pay attention to detail &... More

This place was a fantastic addition to a recent getaway. My only regret was that a to-go box wasn't feasible because I'd have happily eaten the rest of my meal for dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was ridiculous. If I were to offer any complaints, it would simply be that we sat a good 10 minutes before... More

We went on a Sunday afternoon, I gave my name and waited for the first available table. After quite a wait we asked how much longer and were told my name had been scratched from the list. I know my name was not called as we were sitting on a bench 3 feet from the sign in station and could... More

We went on a Sunday and ordered from the brunch menu. There was enough variety to accommodate our entire group. The service was excellent an the food very delicious. The portion size was also perfect. We will definitely come back when in town.
