This restaurant is in a new location just north of town. Modern award winning Hill Country design. But wait - the menu also deserves an award. Restaurant bills itself as Hill Country inspired cuisine. They don't exaggerate. By far the best in town. Good attentive helpful wait staff. Inexpensive.

We had dinner here and found this restaurant to be outside the norm for what we love about the hill country. This eatery was more of an uptown, new wave, establishment with very cool modern décor, and dinning furniture that was NOT very comfortable. The menu was limited with very few traditional choices. If you like Chicken and grits, or... More

We loved our lunch at the Leaning Pear. Food was very tasty and service was good. We sat outside overlooking the river, so pretty.

It seems they are in a new location and new building. Location close to downtown and building looks very new and nice. We made reservations for dinner, but we were both disappointed in dinner items. None of the dinner items were appealing so we just had 1/2 sandwich with cup of soup. Think this would be good place for lunch,... More

Very delightful lunch. Food was fresh and flavorful. It was a beautiful weekend and we were hoping to sit out on the patio but were seated by a window so did get a view. Would definitely go back again.

We had a beautiful day for lunch on the deck. Started with a carafe of mimosas....yummy! Had the special of the day, pasta bolognese. It was delicious! The service was awesome! It's definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful ambiance outside this time of year. Dog friendly patio. Delicious local farm bistro type food plus old favorites as well.

My sister and I ate at the Leaning Pear in Wimberley, Tx. and really liked it. The food was very good especially the salad with the house dressing. The atmosphere is really nice as was the wait staff.

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Dripping Springs. I did my research online and found that this is one of the top places to eat at in Wimberley. We had a little bit of a wait to be seated which I would expect on a Friday, everyone playing hookie from work. But I did notice during... More

My wife and I stopped here for dinner at 7 PM on a Friday. We were immediately impressed with the appearance of the facility. We were promptly seated outside (our preference) in their nice outdoor dining area, where there is also a small bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the crab cake and sriracha sauce appetizer. My wife had the drum (a... More
