I had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was quite lovely. I emailed them before my trip to see if they were dog friendly, and to my surprise, they were! There is a back patio on Cypress Creek where I could lunch with my dog, who was on vacation with me. I ordered a Mimosa and their Migas,... More

New, modern upscale restaurant in the area. Good food, good variety. Unusual offerings, from salads, sandwiches and pizzas.

What a difference The Leaning Pear is compared to the rest of Wimberley. Much more modern and new. Love the farm to table philosophy. Had a meat and cheese tray as an appetizer with wine soaked fruit and figs. So amazing! The meatloaf was likely the best thing I have ordered at a restaurant. Until we ordered the Ancho Chocolate... Had lunch with a friend here today and loved it. Beautiful clean pretty wood decor. Nice friendly service and great food. I had the CHICKEN FRIED BANDERA QUAIL SANDWICH and my buddy had the SALAD TRIO. He said the pecan-black currant tuna salad was really good. Both of us were pleased with our meals and the friendly service. The limeade... More

The Leaning Pear is one of my favorite Wimberley haunts. I've never had a bad meal there, but I am partial to the pizzas. A draft beer is a good idea too. The staff are friendly and the chocolate cake, which is actually from the Sugar shack, a local bakery, is magnificent.

What a great place! Our party of six started off with little wings (buffalo) accompanied by a piece of spicy cornbread, atop some yummy succatash. Our table had the beef huaraches, a pizza, soup and salad, and I had the wonderful chicken and grits. Desserts were shared, and enjoyed by all. Fun place.

If your husband is picky, don't take him here. However, if you like to try delicious, creative food then this is your place! We went on a Friday night, and you do need reservations, but you just tell them what time you're coming. It wasn't packed or anything. The place is gorgeous! You can sit inside or out on the... More

We were so excited to have brunch here and the food was really fantastic! The breakfast hash and the macaroni and cheese were absolutely to die for! Unfortunately, service was very slow and not very attentive. We sat for a while without being greeted, we had empty cups and had to request refills numerous times, and had to wait quite... More

Very unusual menu but what we ordered was really good. I had the 3 salads and a cup of soup which was super. Service was really good; restaurant was very nice with a beautiful view.

We wanted to love this new location but we have been disappointed 3 or 4 times. Once they were out of 3 different items on the menu and the next time the food was expensive and not very good. We tried to give them The benefit of the doubt during the transition but...our friends felt the same way so we... More
