Outside dinning has great views while inside is great, too. The food was good and prices not to bad. Service good and place for every member of the family.

Each time we have a meal at The Leaning Pear in Wimberley, we are impressed with their delicious food and great menu. Standbys like pimiento cheese and chicken salad are done beautifully. We enjoyed a daily special cold cucumber & yogurt soup, which was fabulous, as was the grilled focaccia sandwich with mozzarella & tomato. Easy reservations by email- (and... More

Great ambiance and wine list; reasonable pricing and trendy food. Sometimes the "laid back Austin vibe" that so many restaurants brag about really means sloppy service....too bad because my feeling is that the chef is working hard!

What a great place! Love the openness and the windowed wall looking out into nature! It was especially beautiful since we had a nice rain last nite! My hubby had the Chicken Fried Quail Sandwich which was tasty (except for the burnt bun???) and I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich on thick slices of Sun-dried tomato bread. My Sammy was... More

If you like to try new kinds of food then this is the place. Beautiful building pine, glass, iron with outdoor seating and pretty grounds. They utilize the rain water for grey water use!!! Excellent service or can take out. Very large place with plenty of seating and would be an excellent place for a large group. With hestitation I... More

But, that's ok. Diversify and treat you palate to new experiences. Okra pizza was certainly a new twist. I must say it was great and the ice tea was high on my list of fav ice tea's ever. This was a dinner while on girlfriends weekend and though I can't remember what they ordered, but I know they were more... More

This restaurant is apparently in a new location, but the food is excellent and the wait staff treat you like family. You could tell many "locals" ate here. I would recommend making reservations to be safe.

Went there for dinner one night and then back for lunch the next day it was so good. Had different entrees each time and all were great! Love the atmosphere and friendly, laid back staff. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the crab cake is wonderful!

The chef goes out of his way to bring local fresh food and prepare it in his style. A refreshing experience every time. They know gluten free too!

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Wimberley for a mini-vacation. I lived in Wimberley 20 years ago and could hardly recognize the place on my return. Back in the day the only options that you had to eat were the Cypress Creek Cafe and Dairy Queen. My-oh-my how things have changed. We had a great experience at The... More
