Wonderful, fresh food!

Beautiful restaurant! Fresh food. The pear salad was to die for. Everyone loved their choices. Friendly waitstaff. We sat outside and loved the view of the area!

Had two very enjoyable meals at this inventive restaurant. Eating outside is a wonderful experience as the tables overlook a beautiful meadow. The chef has very imaginative choices. The soups are incredible. Each plate is layered with a multitude of favors. And the desserts are spectacular. The staff is helpful and charming. Not to be missed.

We went at 11:00 am on a Saturday because we heard the restaurant was very good and we did not want to take a chance of having to wait in line. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We were promptly seated and the service overall was good. There was one miss when my husband asked for ketchup and he... More

We were told to eat here by a local and we are glad that we did. I had one of the best wood fired pizzas I've had anywhere, including north Jersey and NYC. My wife loved the watermelon gazpacho and the BBLT. The panna cotta was outstanding. Great views and service too.

We went on a Sunday and they only offered their brunch menu. My wife and I both had the house salad. The goat cheese was creamy and the spiced pecans added a nice crunch to very subtle salad flavors. My wife had the schnitzel sandwich and I had the sausage and broccoli rabe pizza. We felt the sandwich was a... More

I absolutely love everything about The Leaning Pear. The food, the atmosphere, the staff! The "perfect pair" is my go to... I usually get it with the house salad (YUM!) and the reuben or BBLT sandwich!

Th Leaning Pear was a destination lunch spot, and it deserves its good reviews. Even with the GPS it was hard to find, so watch for the turn off close to the bank, then follow the little road until you see a modern-looking building off to your left. Parking is limited and you have to walk a little bit. There... More

The restaurant is nothing special. The menu is LIMITED with mainly vegetarian items. There is nothing really wrong with that but if you are looking for American food and think you are going to go here and get something like a Chili's or etc....WRONG!!!!! Drink selection is limited to....... And they are VERY animate about not allowing substitutions. So they... More

While visiting Wimberley, we asked...where would you recommend for lunch or dinner and the reply was always the Leaning Pear. One person said...until they came to town....I didn't like recommending a place to eat. Traditional Texan dishes with a slight twist. The outdoor seating was spectacular. If the weather is cooperating, sit outside!!! Make reservations! Close at 9pm...seems everyone does... More

Didn't feel like going out so hubby picked up food. Never been before so looked up menu on website. Ordered meatloaf and wanted a side of their grits. Meatloaf was burnt. He had to buy a whole other meal with chichen for the grits??? Grits were amazing but had to buy a whole meal with a chicken breast that wasn't... More
