Restaurant choices in Wimberley are limited - having the Leaning Pear is absolutely wonderful as it never disappoints. Everything on the menu is oustanding, from salads to dessert. If you like crab cakes and they are on the menu, order them! If the strawberry shortcake is available, save room for it! The service is friendly, cheerful, and very attentive. more

This is probably the best place to eat in Wimberley. The chef/owner is a professional chef who uses all fresh ingredients and has a very creative side to his dishes. It is open mainly for lunch with salads and sandwiches. more

We have been to the Leaning Pear 3-4 times and have greatly enjoyed our food every time. We have tried their sandwiches, soups, and salads all with success in the "yummy" category. Their panna cotta is always delicious. It has become our favorite place when in Wimberley. more

Delicious salads, sandwiches and desserts. My husband loved his bowl of ham and escarole soup and my Leaning Pear House Salad and Caprese Panini were great.
