I've really wanted this place to make it since the new owners took over, but they are not as much hands on, and it shows. My visits used to be once or more a week for over the last 30 years, was still doing that a few months after new owners took over, but not anymore. Now I might go... More

glass kichen has been around for my whole life and before. Food is great and burgers are made to order. Sad owners are gone now and new have taken over so not "we remember you" environment but food still good -get the onion rings that are homemade.

The building is not much to look at but you will be happy you came. Come for an outstanding hamburger in a small shack on Old Iowa Park road.

Prior to traveling through Wichita Falls I checked tripadvisor for good hamburger restaurants. Tripadvisor rated the Glass Kitchen as the best in Wichita Falls. I understood from the reviews I read that the location was not so good and the place looked like a dump but the burgers were supposed to be really good. I was so disappointed to find... More

Asked a couple of men at the hotel I am staying at tonight where to eat. They suggested the Glass Kitchen. It was close to the hotel so I decided to try it. If I drove by it I would have never stopped. Sure am glad I tried it out. When I saw the menu it was like I steeped... More

Really good burgers! This place is a dive but that just adds to the experience in my opinion. Operated by the same family for 53 years now - amazing! Arrive early - they close at 7pm.

Personally, I preferred the burgers at Gene's Tasty Burger and Ronnie's a bit more. That being said, Glass Kitchen has a wonderful burger. Wichita Falls has some great burger joints, and Glass Kitchen is one of them. The fries were average at best. I didn't look into the kitchen (not really glass), but they tasted like they were from frozen... More

The burgers were fantastic. Fries were so so. The place is run down, but if you don't mind the food was stellar. The people were very friendly. Their hours are terrible, only open until 7 on the weekdays and are closed on the weekends.

I had a regular single-patty burger and it was awesome! The flavors blend just like you'd expect from a home-made burger. My hubby had the Frisco burger (comes with chili, but not opened faced, perfect burger!) The onion rings are very good, and the cherry coke was made just right. The building and location are not fancy, but for good... More

If your looking for a 5 star dining experience this is not the place. But they have some great burgers that were fresh and great quality. Service was quick and polite.
