We drove up and there was a long line outside waiting to give or receive to go orders. There was no wait inside but it was late in the day. Love their BBQ and sauce. I also like it that they let you put your own sides on the plate and have plenty of peppers, onions, pickles etc to go... More

Oh the Branding Iron. Other BBQ places come and go, but the Branding Iron is like a trustworthy friend. You can always count on good BBQ. Buffet line moves quickly even if crowded. Portions are generous. BBQ sauce is the best. Brisket can be a little dry at times. Popular weekday lunch place. Must call ahead for large take out... More

The best BBQ in The area. It is a cash only place, but the food is great. Beats all others in Wichita Falls and is better than Jake's Ribs in Chickasha. People are friendly and place has the rustic feel of a good smoke house.

If you're looking for some authentic Texas BBQ - This is it! The smoked turkey is delicious, the chopped or sliced beef is great, pork loin, lots of great sides, beans, coleslaw, potato salad. The place is small, they serve cafeteria style, self serve for the most part, it's nothing fancy, but it is real BBQ and sweet tea, regular... More

I love taking my out-of-town guests to eat here. It's a very unique experience. They are also treated to photographs of "Terrible Tuesday" and the aftermath thereof. Prices are what you would expect from a family bar-b-que house.

I have eaten at Branding Iron many many times in the 20+ years I have lived here. It is not in the best part of town but it is safe. The food is always consistent and for what you pay you get a good tasting meal with a nice portion of food for a very reasonable price. I have eaten... More

My boyfriend and I both got the chopped brisket and it was horrible! Tasted more like dry pot roast. No smoke taste what so ever. The sides were also terrible. Potato salad was worse than what you would get a grocery store. Prices were way too high for what you got.

Just stopped by for lunch and this place was Excellent, good ol Texas barbecue! Don't let the look of the building fool you, it looks a little rough on the outside and the inside is rustic country but fits the establishment well. The sausage is juicy, the brisket tender and moist, the ribs were meaty but the turkey was a... More

We were on a day trip from home & found this on the GPS - let's go there. It's off the 'main drag' a mile or so - maybe a commercial area of town. It looks ok from the outside but gets pretty dark when you open the door - it's ok - go on in. It's cafeteria service. We... More
