Road Trip Stop between CO and South MS

We found this place after reading reviews online and on Trip Advisor. Over 65 years old, it's an "institution" of Wichita Falls, so we thought it'd be a safe and tasty place to eat. Best Queso in Wichita Falls! The food seems like frozen tex-mex but the chips and queso are worth the trip!

Interesting location in downtown Wichita Falls. Small wooden booths--and I mean SMALL--line the sides with tables down the middle of the room. Parking is minimal. Margaritas not available, beer and canned drinks are. I got the enchilada plate: salad, two enchiladas, nacho chip ($7.99). The salad was chopped (very chopped) lettuce with a sprinkle of chopped tomatoes and served with... More

It had been 50 years since I had eaten at Casa Mañana, so after dropping my wife off at the Wichita Falls Airport, my brother and his wife and I revisited our past for lunch. Although it's not much to look at, don't let Casa Mañana's simple surroundings stop you from enjoying some of the best Mexican food you'll ever... More

Went in for red tacos. Got six tacos, hard chips and quest. Cost over 40 dollars.....Lived here my whole life and now I remember why I never eat there. Could the manager at least throw in the nasty chips and hot sauce? Won't go again

As always the red tacos were great but I must say that 42.00 for 6 tacos and a small bag of chips and caso is rather outrageous. I do enjoy the food but they really need to do something about the prices.

The salsa and chips were great. Then Ate the 2 red tacos. Taco Bell would of been better. There was 7 in our group. Not one thought it was anything special. Even our waiter when we ask said only thing different was they added red die to the shells.

This was not what our family remembers growing up. The smell in the front room was so bad. The owner was disrespectful. The establisment charge 2.00 for us sharing. If the waiting staff had told us that we would have order ala carte. The waitress did not even split our meal ontwo plates. She did bring us an extra plate.... More
