Quaint Diner with luncheon feel

Food is always excellent. The pies are amazing and if you get the choice, sit at the table in front of the baker's window. She makes biscuits and pies right there so whomever sits by that window can watch some of the magic. It's a real down-home kind of place. The staff is very sweet and always... read more

I called in an order in the morning and let the lady know what time I would be by to pick this up. I arrived at the time specified only to find out that my order had not even been started. I waited for 40 minutes in the pick up window for my order. I asked to speak to the... More

The waitress was aweful. She took a long time to take our order and then was snooty when my 3yr old began to get fussy about being hungry. She then rushed us to leave after having to wait even longer for our food. The food wasn't even worth the wait. Don't believe what you read about the pie. Tastes like... More

Lunched at restaurant with friends several times, but only because they wanted to return. After my first visit had no interest in going back. Wait staff is nice, but food all tasted reconstituted. Hamburgers were ok, but everything else tasted like it came off a truck, was thawed and nuked. Not my kind of place for sure ... or for... More

Had a very great burger and fries. Burger was fresh and hand made - not frozen. Fries fresh cut. Wife had the same burger and onion rings. Would recommend the fries over the onion rings.

Stopped in here for lunch on our way to China Spring. I had the chicken fried steak with homemade au gratin potatoes and fried squash. All were very good, but the potatoes were outstanding!! So cheesy and oniony. I could have eaten a whole bowl. Gravy was perfect and CFS was tender. My mom had chicken fried chicken with mashed... More

If you are looking for a very solid southern breakfast with everything that means....biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, hashedbrowns..... this little cafe is a great choice, It also been there for lunch and wasn't dissappiinted with their chicken friend steak, but really liked their burger. I've never had one, but it looks delicious.

We had breakfast here on a Friday morning. Food and service were great. We also bought a couple of pieces or pie to eat later and the pie was great. I recommend this place.

We stopped in around lunch two different times last week and the food and service was awesome. They serve breakfast all day so that is what we tried. The biscuits and gravy were spicy without the being overwhelmed by salt. It is refreshing to find a place that doesn't just use salt as a cure all. The bacon was crisp... More
