I called the manager to complain about how the price on my bill was higher than the listed price in the menu and also how they only give back the balance of what you have not eaten if you return your plate for any reason. I wish I did not call the manager. He was An absolute low life moron... More

My husband and I go here a fair amount, especially when we can sit out on the patio by the water feature. It is 5 minutes from our home, the food is very good, the Grand Margarita can't be beat, and the wait staff is friendly. We get our food quick, it is tasty and hot, friendly staff, and close... I almost didn't go to this restaurant because of the negative reviews until I realized that the majority of people that write reviews are only doing it because they have something negative to say. People that had a good experience are not driven to write a review so I thought I should. Our first visit I was ready for bad... More

This place was completely adequate and overwhelmingly mediocre. I would not go back. The soup was not good enough to finish and the chilli was ok. I think that the hotel probably has better food. The whole office complex/shopping center is pretty deserted so I guess they are struggling to hang on.

As a long time business customer, I am disappointed in Diego's continued decline in value and service. They are grossly overpriced and miss no opportunities to charge for extras, including chips. Really? Charging for chips at a Mexican restaurant? Their kitchen is slow, their food is mediocre and their staff is inattentive and unfriendly. And now apparently a party of... More

Love, love, love their grand margarita- happy hour price $5.50. Unfortunately server failed to advise us of $2.99 charge per ticket for chips/salsa and automatic 20% tip for party of 5 bring cost of margarita to $11.03! Unacceptable and deceiving. Not a great way to treat business park customers who are your bread and butter.

Pros: This place has the best frozen margarita around. Grande Special is our regular order during our happy hours. Cons: You gotta pay for the chips while most Tex Mex place around offer it free.

This is in a former Chili's at the Solana development in Westlake. Almost all the other retail has gone away, leaving just this, a liquor store, an Italian/pizza restaurant, and a small history museum. Diego's, sadly, is nothing special. Basic Tex-Mex, and nothing to write home about. Saddest thing is the place closes at 9 PM weeknights (must be a... More

I do not like eating here at all. It is close to my office and people want to go here, but I think that it is gross and that the service is bad. Service is the main reason that I rank this one with only two stars. Every single time I go the service is just terrible. It takes for... More

I eaten here a few times for lunch. It was recommended by my co-workers. They is never really a crowd and I am able to be served relatively quick. The waiter provided good service...my drink was refilled promptly. The food is standard Tex-Mex, served hot everytime. The lunch specials are priced modestly.
