Rudy's is the best in the area. The prices are great, and its never too crowded. Beer on ice, and sports on the TV's.

The best BBQ in Clear Lake Area. As close as one can get to Hill Country quality BBQ as one can get this side of the Brazos. Killer sauce too.

We went with another couple who know the area. We stopped for dinner and ate in. You order meat by weight and select sides in Styrofoam containers which are in a refrigerated unit. Table clothes are paper from a roll. You eat on picnic tables. It's rustic. But food was great and service equally good. We even filled up our car... More

Being new to the Houston area, my co-workers raved about Rudy's. We stopped in for lunch. Order what meat you want by the weight. Being my first visit, I received some samples to try. Settled on lean brisket and pulled pork. Both excellent. They are famous for their sauce, and it did not disappoint! I'm a convert now.

our first visit as people recommended this as a good bbq restaurant. They gave us a sample before we ordered and explained how the ordering process worked. the brisket melted in your mouth and the link sausage was tasty. my daughter ordered the pork ribs and never seen food disappear so fast, when we asked her if it was good,... When you pull up the has pumps are always funny to see. Btw gas is usually a great price same as costco down the way. The smell of burning wood always reminds me of camping . I love it. When you walk in, always a friendly hello from the staff. The Line on weekends can be long but they usually... More

We have many guests visit from Canada and Rudy's is the best place to introduce them to BBQ. Driving up the the gas station/restaurant is my favorite way to say this is how Texans do BBQ. I know it isn't completely true but my friends love it. Rudy's is always clean and full of hungry people. I love the moist... More

BBQ from a gas station. Order by the pound. Sauce is like no other around and makes the meal. Beans and corn are so so but not a deal breaker.

Rudy’s has a different twist on the BBQ as seen with a gas station / small store theme. You can quickly grab soda, beer, t-shirts, etc. which add to the interior allure or skip them completely like I did and follow the aroma to the food counter where the brisket pits are located just behind the servers. In general, it... More

This is what I expect in BBQ from Texas. Smoked brisket so tender it easily pulled apart, yet it wasn't soft. Order you meat by the pound and eat from butcher paper plates. The sides were excellent. We selected the potato salad and the cream corn. Just don't let your eyes be bigger than your stomach, which is easy to... More
