Staff is always friendly and food is consistently good. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have not been disappointed with anything. Although there is a non-smoking section, when they are busy, it can be a little smokey. They have some of the best onion rings we have ever eaten. Prices are also very reasonable and breakfast... I've driven from Fort Worth to eat here. The food is traditional southern made the old fashioned way. The prices are better than average and lunch specials can;t be beat. I highly recommend the the chicken fried chicken. Laid back atmosphere and wonderful service. Doesn't disappoint!

We went there on a Wednesday afternoon. The place is small and cozy. Clean and very friendly. The lunch special (not on the menu) was Goulash or Meatloaf. Sides were Mashed potatoes, and Collard greens (again off menu). I had the Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Collard Greens - wife had the small chicken fried steak tater tots and salad. The... More

I have been here numerous times in my 2 yrs in the area. It's out in the country by itself, leading to a relaxing atmosphere. Most of the food I have had there is very good! One of the servers is very attentive, some not so much. Their hominy casserole is just delicious as is their chicken and dumplings! I... More

My husband and I were searching tripadvisor for a good place to eat in the Weatherford, TX area when we found the reviews for Mary's. True,, it is about eleven miles out of town near the Brazos River. Also true, the food is good, abundant, and cheap! Thursday through Saturdays from 5:00 until 8:30 it is all you can eat... More

Mary's is off the beaten path but the scenery on the drive is lovely. The down side is that the smoke from the smoking section makes its way into the rest of the restaurant. The menu is varied with country cooking favorites, hamburgers and sandwiches. The quality of the food was good and the lunch prices were very reasonable. This... More

We dined on a Thursday about dinner time. I had the fisherman's platter. It was all deep fried, but it was the best deep fried I've had. My sides were baked potato and broccoli with cheese. Jane's choice was tilapia on rice with broccoli and carrots. There was neither room nor desire for desert. And sweet tea, very good sweet... More

We dined one Sat morning for breakfast and came back for lunch. Everything was cooked to our tastes and the service was very good. This is a very casual country family styled restaurant. The chicken fried steak and fried catfish are excellent. Be sure to buy a bag of their homemade peanut brittle on your way out!

This place is overall good, most things I've had are great! Atmosphere is a mom and pop and not fancy but good food and friendly fast waitstaff! Catfish is great and prices are reasonable. Give it a try but it's off the beaten path....
