Good food!

Beautiful, fresh sandwiches on homemade breads and delicious soups! Great place for lunch! It is a small sandwich shop but the food is amazing. Very worth the visit!

After a long day of work and long week of work. It was so great to have them make my husband and I have the best sandwiches ever. The salvation with no tomatoes and add mustard. Sweet tea and a bag of chips to make the meal complete. Thanks Alvin Ords and looking forward to coming back again soon

I have only had their chicken salad sandwich and just love them. I use to get extra pickles, which they had the claussen pickles, but since they serve regular pickles I usually get my sandwich to go and eat at home with my pickles since I don't eat chips. They make their own bread and it is what makes their... More

Really good sandwich and really big too. And for anyone scared to try because of a few bad reviews...don't be. First of all they ordered the wrong thing and was someone really complaining about paying $1 too much or was that a joke. I recommend the salvation or the newbie, they are both really good. The newbie has jaleps so... More

We moved to Weatherford in August and tried Alvin Ord's yesterday. You order and pay at the counter and fill/refill your own tea or lemonade. They served canned/bottled soft drinks - no fountain - so you pay for soda refills. Sandwiches and soups were very good. We had the hamburger and the . Sandwiches served on delicious bread. Counter staff... More

Tasty sandwich but it felt like we were paying about $1 too much. Friendly counter worker. The restaurant really needed a facelift, though. No free refills on soft drinks.

I hate to give a poor review, and I feel compelled to just advise anyone visiting.. just beware. My turkey and ham sandwich was so bad I did not finish the first bite. Hopefully, they read reviews and will make corrections with their products. No pride in their product, plus a small not fresh sandwich and drink was over $8.00.... More

Very different and tasty sandwiches. The sandwiches come on really fresh bread and can be ordered to the size that feeds a family. Great service and good prices. Will be back for another monster sandwich.

Alvin Ord's (in my opinion) serves THE BEST SANDWICHES EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE!! Their bread is one of a kind and baked fresh daily. They use nothing but top quality products and the staff is fabulous!! No smoking on their outside seating area makes this place OVER THE TOP!!
