OK but not great

Had brisket and turkey take out with cole slaw and fried okra. Brisket did not have that good smokey flavor nor the fall apart slices of meat. If I have time, prefer to drive a few miles out of town to get the real deal.

Bought lunch here yesterday for my family. Had one of the family packs with a pound of pulled pork and a pound of polish sausage, mac and cheese, green beans, and baked potato mashed that was really delish. It fed 3 adults and 3 teens.. barely.

Beef, chicken, sausage, and ham. Cooked right there in the building. Makes the neighbor hood smell so wonderful. Meats and all the sides. Buffet style. Fill your plate, set and chow down. Wonderful freshly baked bread. And when your so full you are about to bust, soft serve ice cream just awaitin". Come and enjoy!!!

Did a quick dine in before going to the movies. Ordered a light meal sausage and garden salad. When I got to the register there was a female telling the cashier what the order was. I advised her that I had ordered the light meal. She in turn was telling me this was not the garden salad and I could... More

Just moved to Waxahachie and can't seem to find a "fast food" joint in town that comes close to them! It's a real restaurant I can drive up to and get fresh food every time. THANK YOU DICKEY'S in Waxahachie!

We enjoy eating here. The BBQ is good and its not crowded. My boys like the TV's and free ice cream. I like that the value for my buck. People are nice and its mostly clean. Like those biscuits.

My father passed away nearly 8 months ago. When we decided to have an out of town picnic in his honor for Father's Day/his birthday, Bryan (the manager at this location) was so generous. He went above and beyond our expectations, made sure we had everything we needed and even met us earlier than their posted business hours so we... More

The smoked turkey breast is melt in your mouth wonderful. The raw broccoli salad is always my choice. Do not pass up on the rolls, fresh and delish, they are complimentary as well as is the ice cream. Oh, and sweet tea is the real deal.

We stopped by to pick up a pound a beef on Superbowl Sunday, 2014 and were very surprised that the cost was $3 more than the Dickey's down the road in Red Oak charges. The experience got even worse when we opened the package at home. The meat was extremely fatty. We were only able to eat about half of... More

I'm not a huge fan of BBQ but I really enjoyed their chopped BBQ. I didn't see any fat and the spicy sauce was very good as well.
