take the duck

i had the duck and I would definitely recommend it. The fetuccini alfredo was very rich. It lasted for 3 servings.

if it's your first visit. It has been quite awhile since our last visit. Their expansion remodel is impressive. We had the shrimp scampi and the stuffed poblano pepper. The pepper was stuffed with a mix of seafood and was quite new to me and very impressive. The shrimp scampi was also quite excellent with a variety of special flavors.... More

My daughter planned our visit to Chef Point Cafe, as we live out of town and had never heard of this restaurant. When we pulled up, I was surprised to see that we were at a convenience store. I was a little taken aback, and thought we were just stopping for some kind of needed item from said convenience store.... More

this place is off the beaten path no doubt. but when we got there it was pretty busy. with no reservations we had a little wait, so we moved to the bar. They were in the weeds if you've ever been a server it means they were slammed. so we ordered simply, wine and a margarita. We were sat in... More

I have dined at Chef Point three times and every time has been exceptional. The food is outstanding! My wife had the stuffed pork chops and I had chicken and waffles on our visit yesterday. They really know how to put the right food combinations together. The depth of flavor, in virtually every dish, is remarkable. I can't review Chef... More

Second time here. Decided to bring some friends for Valentine's day. Food was outstanding and our friends just loved it. Our friends tried the stuffed Pork Chop and Chicken (specialty of the house) and raved about it. I had the Duck and loved it. I normally bring food home but couldn't stop eating it. We ended the meal with the... More

When we lived in Dallas, this was our special place for birthdays, anniversaries etc.. We tried virtually everything on the menu from the chicken fried chicken to the seafood dishes and there was always something on the specials board to tempt us as well! We have already agreed that when we go back to visit family this is on the... More

I don't review this restaurant every time I go, but as it's been a year since my last review, thought it was time for a new one. I eat here at least once a month and as much as I travel, that's saying something, especially coupled with the fact that I like trying new places. I work for a large... More

We had a great server. Meals were hot. Presentation blah. We had 5 entrees at the table and none were served with veggies. For an example, a pork chop stuffed with crabcake was good but served with spaghetti and white sauce. After the bread pudding dessert, our group left unimpressed.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant to any one! My first visit was a total disaster. My friend and I both ordered steak and they both were horrible. To tough to cut with knifes furnished and bad taste! After couple of bites called witer over who denied it could be that way. Manager came and replaced the steaks. These new... More
