5 first time diners from out of town came here for dinner with 3 locals who have been to Chef Point before and what great meals we had! Love the story behind the creation of this wonderful restaurant that serves comfort food with a unique flare. We all shared different dishes. The stuffed pork chop and stuffed chicken were delicious!... More

It's all my fault. I never tried Chicken Marsala so i tried it out...after a few bites the couple at a nearby table had their food brought out and I regretted my choice. The gentleman ordered country fried steak......the biggest country fried steak ever on top of a bed of mashed potatoes. It looked awesome. In retrospect I should have... More

Some pastas are too salty. There's a dog that roams around the restaurant and has actually used the bathroom on the floor which is very off putting and unsterile. My boyfriend has gotten the pork chop and it was very dry. I've seen friends order chicken and it's extremely undercooked. Had we not looked at it before eating, she could've... More

If a friend hadn't taken us there, we probably would have missed it. They served the most outstanding lobster bisque I've ever tasted. In fact every thing was wonderful. Plus the service was excellent, all the staff seemed happy and friendly, everything was clean. It was busy but not noisy. Just a delightful meal all round Plus, I found out... More

First, our table of three had excellent service from Kim, our server. Perfect timing with her delivery of refills and checking back, yet not intrusive. She allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the Italian nachos - these were AMAZING! Asiago cheese, kalamata olives on cripy tortilla chips - it doesn't sound like much but it... More

I was really excited to visit this place to see its unique setting inside a functioning, open-for-business gas station. You almost don't notice it driving by. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was not what I expected it to be, especially for the price. My little sister and I split lobster mac &... More

Yep. Down on Watauga Road in Watauga, TX (Mid Cities Blvd) is a gas station. Next door is a non-descript restaurant called Chef Pointe. Be careful. You might drive right past it. Inside is a selection of quality meals which would satisfy the most picky eater. Oh, and don't forget the banana pudding. Folks come from far and wide to... More

Awesome vibes! Never would have guessed a gas station would have such great food! The chicken and waffles were delicious! DDD made a great choice to stop here.

One of the best steaks I've eaten that someone else has prepared. My with had the salmon and it was light, moist and flaky, just as it should be. The mash is delicious. I have no criticisms at all save one, if you are not here early, expect to wait and wait and wait in a crowded area with no... More

This restaurant appeared on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, so that's why we tried it. But the 5-star food was absolutely amazing. A very creative and talented chef. If you want atmosphere go somewhere else. If you want great, creatively inspired food, this is the place. Just don't drive away when you see the outside............it's deceiving. Service a mite slow, but... More
