Had a couple hours of down time so we decided to drive from Grapevine to the restaurant and it was well worth the drive. The place was surprisingly big and was comfortable. It was on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't terribly busy. We shared the Lobster Bisque and it was great, big portion, the bread bowl it came in... More

We ate at Chef Point with friends and had a wonderful time. We each ordered something different so we could share and finished with the bread pudding. The server was attentive and adjusted my friend's drink more to her liking and checked back to make sure it was up to par. My Italian nachos, which came from the appetizer menu,... More

This restaurant was really good at one point years ago. I used to love it and introduced Chef Point to quite a few people that became regulars. The food is still all right for the most part but no way is worth the dinner prices. I spent over 100 dollars last night for 3 people and it just wasn't worth... More

My husband and I were on a mini-vacation in the Fort Worth area, and decided to try Chef Point Cafe. It was wonderful! We went on a Friday night. We were seated inside, close to the kitchen. The service was wonderful, and I enjoyed watching the talented cooks behind the counter. We met the owner the first night we were... More

I've heard so many great things about this place. Mom and my wife wanted to go to breakfast so I looked it up on the internet. Remembered it was featured on an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. As for our visit. Sat outside and really enjoyed the patio. Plenty of covered space and plenty of ceiling fans. I ordered... More

Steak was a little dry but the the ciopinno soup was incredible. We started with what nots which are tremendous. We tried the bacon Bloody Mary along with a wild berry margarita and a midori margarita

Haven't been here since October when the food was amazing. This time things were mediocre. No friendly greeting...food was average ..prices have gone up. Friends had chicken fried steak I had scallops over pasta which were underdone and the sauce was dull. Bathrooms were dirty. Yeah cute place but not so much the food these days!!!

This is truly an awkward place. The restaurant is located in a gas station, and is despite the location an excellent and very “chic” restaurant. The service was quick and very attentive. The décor is nice and makes the place ideal both for formal and informal lunch/dinning. The food is absolutely excellent, and the portions are Texas big. The prices... More

Ordered the house salad, the butternut squash soup (this was so good) and the Stuffed Pork Chops with angel hair pasta last night. Let me just say the cream sauce was amazing, the lobster stuffing was spicy but paired good with the sauce. The pork chop was cooked to perfection and a the one plate was enough for us both... More

We've had this place on our short list of restaurants to try for a couple of years now, and we finally made the 45 minute trek this evening. Chef Point didn't disappoint. Despite just opening their new patio the night before and several warnings and apologies in advance noting that they were still "working out the kinks" in the kitchen... More
