I'm only giving this place 3 stars because I expected more after seeing the place in Diners, Drive ins and Dives. I've eaten at several places shown on triple D and never left without a phenomenal experience. This one was a bit lacking as far as triple D goes. Don't get me wrong the food and service was good -... More

We were sat immediately after entering the restaurant. We then proceeded to wait for 20 minutes as four different members of the waitstaff passed us. Nobody came to take our order, so we left and were asked if we needed help on the way out. Wouldn't visit again.

When in season the fried green heirloom tomatoes are amazing! The food is excellent and the service is on point. I would not recommend the bread pudding although it is their signature dish and many may disagree. It is very solid and boring. On the night of our visit it lacked flavor and was way too dense. That was the... More

This was undoubtedly the best Chicken Fried I ever had and to top it off with the Bread Pudding for dessert was quite a Finale.

I have heard a lot about this place so I took some friends on a Sunday evening because of the live jazz band, who were very good. I noticed right up front a certain amount of frustation and confussion from the waiter we were asdigned. In some cases he displayed proffessional control and other times it looked like confussion. We... More

Went her with my son on a Monday night. I had heard lots about this place and we wanted to give it a shot. We were greeted and seated quickly, spacious table and comfortable environment. We ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese, very good. Son got the prime rib, good, cooked to his order, but not fabulous. I got the... More

I have been here three times now (twice for lunch, once for a dinner event) and the food is simply incredible each time. I've found the servers to be quite knowledgeable and attentive, albeit a little slow to refill drink glasses at times. The fried green tomatoes are some of the best I've had but, as the old saying goes,... More

Friends took us for a Friday night outing. Waitress Tabitha was assisting us with the help of a trainee. She was spread a little thin and was not able to provide the attention we are used to. The ambiance was not the greatest, being in a gas station and all. However the food was GREAT! Lobster Bisque and Osso Bucco... More

When this place was a service station they were FANTASTIC! This is now an average restaurant with average food. GO BACK TO YOUR ROOTS!
