The food here is fantastic. The Chef moved here from Lebanon and his recipes are great. The atmosphere is very family restaurant, not a fancy building, but great food served by friendly people. I no longer live nearby but I will continue to stop by for a beef tenderloin shisk a bob when I am in Waco. Not the best... More

Great falafel, great French fries. A casual atmosphere, with friendly service. A quick, decent lunch option for vegetarians.

Looking for place to sit down and enjoy a lunch and found D's on TripAdviser. Turns out it is a neighborhood walkin Restuarant with mostly carry out. The menu was mostly Mediterranean. We had gyros. Found them to be a bit dry but otherwise good. If you want to grab a quick take out this would be the place. Be... More

All food excellent quality. Very fresh. Authentic Mediterranean fare. Very healthy and tasty! It's mine and my daughter's favorite restaurant! They treat us like family!

This little "hole in the wall" has wonderful, marinated meats, fresh salads and great, crispy fried chips! Such a nice change of pace from the plethora of burger and Tex-mex in Waco. Friendly management/staff with simple food, great flavors and not too heavy or greasy. For my personal taste, the hummus was not very memorable but everything else was.

Freshly prepared tabouli and Greek salad. Superb spanakopita and hummus. A trio plate with 3 "sides" was $9.99. Would definitely go back (or do take-out). Go knowing the place itself, while clean, doesn't offer much in the way of ambiance.

Great little find in Waco. Really of the beaten track but well worth it. Very downscale interior but the Greek salad was great especially with very good gyro meat. The humus wrap was different and not to my taste--pickles in the humus. If you have time there is a Free Trade store across the street with great coffee and gifts.

This place has the BEST food I've had while in Waco. Parking can be a problem and sometimes it takes awhile to get the food, but it is definitely worth the wait. :-)

The Med. Grill is a great place for fast Greek food. The gyros are excellent, but the salads and houmus run a close second. Fr4esh vegetables characterize the food and the meat for the gyros is good enough to eat by itself. Parking can be a problem and the restaurant is small. But any wait is worth it.

I was looking for a new place in Waco and read reviews about this place. It is definitely off the beaten path for the traveler passing through Waco, but worth the stop. The neighborhood might leave some feeling a bit uneasy, but when you go during the day it removes some of the nervousness. The building itself is not elaborate... More
