If you like Cajun food this is a must. What it lacks in fancy it makes up for in good. Service is a bit slow. View of the Brazos River is stupendous. We would go back to Waco just to eat at Buzzard Billy's.

Sits on the water for a wonderful view. Food is great too! Try the oyster poor boy and gumbo. You will be in for a wait in the evening.

Good food, beer not as cold as I would like but it's Cajun. It just does not appear to be a clean place. I worry what the back of the house looks like.

The blackened catfish, fried shrimp and fried oysters were delicious. We also enjoyed the bananas foster prepared at the table. Our waiter was delightful and was very attentive. The glasses for the beer were very cold. We enjoyed the entire meal. The hostess tried to seat us near a large party that was quite loud. She happily sat us at... More

The food was better than expected (Awesome) and the service was excellent!! Our server went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and was on top of everything including bringing us some bread chunks to feed the ducks and turtles. I think his name was josh or Justin, recommend this place for a good meal in a relaxed... More

We have eaten here many times and the seafood is some of the best Central Texas has to offer. The Shrimp Cocktail (not on the menu) and Seafood Gumbo are out of this world. All the fried platters are very good as well. Problem is .... if your in he mood to enjoy the great outdoor deck overlooking the Brazos... More

The food was excellent and the wait staff was great. The scenery was beautiful as we sat there enjoying watching the people paddle board down the Bosque River. The location was very easy to find even with all the construction going on at the freeway. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

We stopped by the Waco Tourism Bur. and they recommended this restuaruant. I am glad they did. The river front added the view but the food was outstanding. Quality food at good prices. The entire family liked the food. Definately a place to go.

We visited here on our way home from vacationing in San Antonio. It was a late lunch so wait time was minimal. The atmosphere is okay. The river is nice but a lot of construction is going on and the interstate is right next to you. The food was excellent. There is a large variety to choose from. We all... More
