We went tonight and really enjoyed it. We had great service and food. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather. We even got to feed the turtles, ducks, and fish thanks to our great waitress who brought us more bread to feed them. We'll definitely go back.

I ordered the gator fingers for an app and the seafood pirogue for an entrée. Both were amazing! Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely come back next time I pass through Waco.

This is a nice little getaway, there's just no beating the atmosphere. I've enjoyed many a good poboy sandwich, love the steak fries as well as the jambalaya. Great view of the Brazos, and the staff is the most friendly I've encountered. I always have a great experience at the "buzz" and plan on returning now that the construction has... More

We visit this restaurant each year when we attend this conference and it never disapoints. The parking lot is somewhat of a mess if you can get past that but, they are now more easily accessed from the service road! The food is great...I got the shrimp po boy and it was great! The staff is friendly and handled a... More

Ate here on the way from San Antonio back to Dallas. Hard to find entrance to the place due to current construction on I-35, but feel it's worth the hunt. Nice outdoor patio in the back that is right above the Brazos river. Lots of beggars in the water below - turtles, ducks, and catfish. 3 yr old loved watching... More

I guess if you are one of the only restaurants with a view of water you can not worry about other specifics. My chicken alfredo pasta came out cold, I had to send it back. I guess they decided to microwave it leaving the top layer of noodles crunchy. After being seated it was 10 minutes before we were greeted,... More

if you are a crazy eater- you will love this place, the beer is cold the alligator is fresh and the catfish is to finger licking good. The fries are always in need of salt.

Great food, good service but right now it is a little hard to get to Buzzard Billy's because of construction on I-35 right beside them. Will be better when the new bridges next to the new Baylor Stadium are completed.

Ordered a shrimp boil that stated corn potatoes and shrimp were boiled together with spices. Got my food and none of it had spices. Shrimp and hush puppies were awesome but corn and potatoes were bland and unseasoned. One in my part ordered red beans and rice and said it was tasteless and ate very little. Good service and atmosphere.... More
