It took a long time for a server to offer us any drinks. She was very nice though and accommodated my 2 special requests; taste the cold slaw before ordering and request of a non-menu item (blackened alligator). I couldn't tell if my plate was alligator or chicken meat, but it tasted okay. Portion was adequate and facilities were clean... More

The place is off the interstate on the Brazos river. You can eat outside over the river or inside, where you can still see the river. The food is mostly fish related. They have catfish, alligator, shrimp. crawfish etc. But they also have non fish stuff. You can not go wrong with the beans/rice and sausage . The catfish is... More

This was my first visit to Buzzard Billy's. The setting is really neat out over the Brazos. They have outdoor seating on the water which is nice. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the Cajun Combo. The blackened catfish filet was perfect! The jambalaya was tasty but had a bit... More

I have often eaten here on my way from Austin to Fort Worth and the Cajun food is always good. However, on the last trip it was only about 25% full and took almost an hour to get our food. The people at the next table did wait an hour and they had hungry young kids with them. My husband... More

Very good seafood! I was able to modify my order easily. Kids ordered pasta off regular menu & it was too spicy.

It was a cold Sunday evening and I was looking for a great seafood meal. I enjoyed the fried seafood combo (catfish, shrimp and oysters). It was well cooked and delicious. My server disappeared for long periods and my beverage was not refilled in a timely manner. I waited ten minutes after I finished my meal for my check.

I used to love this restaurant but lately it seems it is just a hit and miss. Sometimes its good and sometimes it is too salty to eat. The view is absolutely great, but the wait staff seems to follow the kitchen - a long wait. Really with they could get it all together so it could be a return... More

This was such a fun place to eat. We sat out on the patio over the water, and there were so many ducks, turtles, & catfish. My daughter had fun feeding them. The plates come with a lot of food, me and my fiance could have shared. We both got 2 different po boys & they were really good. The... More

You can't beat the view of the Brazos, but my one and only trip was on a Saturday around 2 p.m. Not busy at all, but our order took more than 20 minutes to get to our table. Service was great, but she can't help how long the kitchen takes. My shrimp po boy was average. Fries average. My son's... More

We saw a billboard for the place, and couldn't resist. I mean, really--"Buzzard Billy's?" Anyway! We ate outside over the river because it was so nice out, and this would be our last meal in Texas for quite a while. Service was great, and so was the welcoming committee of cowbirds, ducks, grackles, and turtles. I swear some of those... More
