On June 13, 2015, my husband and I along with another couple decided to go to Buzzard Billy's for dinner. We will not go back. The best parts of the meal were the appetizers (gator fingers and armadillo eggs) which were awesome and the blacked chicken was good. However, the service was terrible. Our waiter was sitting at table or... More

The service was good, but the kitchen was very slow. I got the BBQ cheese burger, my wife got the shrimp poboy. She said that the poboy was very good. The cheeseburger was good, but nothing special. The one thing I will say is that the burgers were big at a 1/2 pound. This place is easy to get to... More

Visited Waco with the family for Father's day weekend and ate here after checking into the hotel. They had a band playing in the parking lot when we arrived and an all-you -can eat crawfish deal going on. Good thing we didn't want any 'cause they ran out a short time after we sat down after about a 20 min... More

As usual, we were looking for a restaurant within walking distance of our overnight hotel ( The Red Roof ), and spied this one. Had to navigate the flyover and busy road, but took us less than 5 mins to walk. We asked for an outside table overlooking the river, and although very busy, had one within 20 mins. Service... More

This restaurant is advertised as a Cajun cuisine restaurant so I thought I would be brave and order a combination of various Cajun dishes. The blackened fish was under cooked. The jambalaya was dry and cold. The gumbo, which I thought was a soup, was as thick as wall paper paste and tasted like it came out of a box.... More

Having eaten here on numerous occasions, I keep thinking the food will get better but it still is somewhat lacklustre. Ordered a cup of seafood gumbo to start the meal and it was dry and in a very small container for its price. Way too much rice and not enough gumbo. Ordered the Fried Combo which features fried oysters, fried... More

I have never had a bad experience here. Everything I have eaten has been good but my favorite is the Dinosaur eggs with a side salad. The patio is really good too, just went there and it was raining but still the patio was pleasant and we keep dry. Unfortunately because of the flooding the usual enjoyment of watching the... More

I went with a party of (5) and I ordered the sea food gumbo..No rue after sipping it I realized that it was from a can. Maybe Campbell's soup, but nothing from where I'm from St.Martinsville, La. I asked the waiter if it was canned ? He told me it was. My family was surprised, I would've went to Pappadeaux... More

Ordered shrimp-did not smell right-old-but was edible, the corn on the cob tasted liked old yesterdays left-overs. We ate outside on the patio- the tables were not cleaned-I picked up a knife off of the floor, plus there was another spoon on the floor. There were 2 towels and 2 trays on tables-NOT A CLEAN PLACE!! Not my job to clean!!!... More
