Their food is delicious!!! I had their Peruvian Chicken special yesterday and it hit the spot. Their service was great, and we love their queso and ice cream.

We enjoyed the drive to the restaurant along a tree lined "really neat" cedar fenced road. The restaurant is in a very nice setting and the gardens are well cared for with beautiful plants and flowers. Inside decor is clean and the decor is rustic. I had the turkey veggie wraps and a cup of jalapeño sweet potato soup with... More

Homestead Heritage's Cafe has been providing delicious farm-to-table food selections, including meats, for decades -- long before "farm to table" restaurants became trendy. Always the freshest ingredients are used in their salads, soups and sandwiches, all of which are made from scratch and served in ample portions. Their homemade soups are particularly outstanding. Also, the Cafe is a great short... More

Grass fed organic beef is used in their hamburgers and you can taste the difference. Go with the side of Sweet Potato fries or Sweet Potato Jalepeno soup and you will not leave hungry! I eat there frequently and have never had anything that was not scrumptious. The desert seletion is awesome. The staff is very friendly and polite. They... More

I always leave this place feeling completely satiated! The foods are wonderful, especially the sweet potato jalapeno soup! Breads are outstanding. Service is gracious and friendly. It's a really fantastic place to take out-of-town guests.

The mediterranean breakfast is a unique treat. The restaurant is consistently delicious. (the sweet potato fries are really good, and be sure to save room for the homemade ice cream)

Wonderful place to eat off the beaten path!!! We ate lunch which included soup, sandwich, chips with queso & guacamole, and raspberry cheesecake. The bread was homemade. Everything was fresh and presented well. The service was wonderful. Atmosphere was homey...like traveling back in time and eating at a family members log cabin. Very interesting place and worth the stop. Touring... More

I found this Restaurant through Trip Advisor. Sometimes this can be a hit or miss, this time it was a definite HIT!!! The food was fresh, service outstanding, and the entire grounds were really nice to explore. We will be making a trip to this place at least once a month! We had the sweet potato jalapeno soup, and the... More

We followed the recommendation on trip advisor and were so happy we did. Wonderful fresh made dishes and desserts. We never get dessert but couldn't pass up house made cakes and pies. Definitely worth the detour if you are in the Wavo area. We will be back. Our kids loved exploring the entire homestead to see pottery, the grist mill,... More
