The Tomato Bisque Soup was from heaven! It was so delicious! There weren't a lot of vegetarian options but they did accommodate us and the Falafel was very good.

We were very excited to visit, had to wait an hour for a table, so we visited the other buildings, with pottery, woodworking, wrought iron. The furniture made here is incredible, really nice stuff. As for the dining experience. The service was slow. The staff was just too polite and nice, they had no individuality or personality, too sterile for... More

Raspberry lemon aid fresh and delicious! Nice variety of foods all freshly prepared with generous portions. I always feel like I'm on a mini vacation when I go here. Beautiful surroundings and have local artisan shops within walking distance of restaurant. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. A little off the beaten path but well worth the trip!

If they had gotten my wife's order right, I would have rated this restaurant excellent on this visit. Because they didn't, and because the rest of us were two thirds finished with our meal when hers finally came out right, I have to give them a "Very Good," rating. We have dined here several times. We love their menu items... More

Cafe Homestead wants you to know that all their food is fresh and organic and you can definitely tell! You will go to Cafe Homestread for the food and you will stay for the place. The restaurant is part of an traditional farm in the middle of the country, a really great place for a walk after a great meal.... More

Went to the establishment last week on Saturday morning. We arrvied around 9:30am and there was one other couple in the restaurant. We waited for ten minutes before someone even waited on us! Once we were finally waited on, the food was came fairly quick and was very good!! Service lacked at the beginning especially when two of the waiting... More

We live in Austin and wanted to meet our family, who lives in Dallas, about halfway for lunch. This was the best place! We enjoyed every bite, and even went back for dinner after touring the farm.

This is a surprising find in central Texas. The food was not what I expected. Primarily organic, the food was very fresh. Restaurant was very clean and staff was outstanding. I had the potato soup and Reuben. The Reuben was excellent and the soup was different but good. One in my party had the brisket. It looked dry to me... More

If you have a chance to visit Cafe Homestead you will enjoy some very well prepared food and a staff that is completely charming. We stopped for lunch after spending the morning exploring the Waco area. The location is a bit out of town but it is well worth the time it might take to get there. We tried a... More
