Too good to keep quiet about!

Fresh, outstanding food. I ad the quesadilla burger, sweet potato and jalapeño soup. To top it off we shared key lime pie (with a crust that was incredible). I will come here as often as I can although I live near Fort Worth. What a beautiful and relaxing place!! Like going to the lodge for lunch... read more

The Cafe was beautiful and looked like a lodge. Beautiful grounds as well. Had the falafel pita and mushroom barley soup. Oh my was it good! Son had a burger and claimed it was the best he ever ate. Store across was beautiful but disappointingly overpriced. I couldn't afford to buy anything and so wanted to get something. Ex rocking... More

Reasonably priced food that is locally produced. Check the website for hours, because it is really a place for lunch. The food was delicious and fresh. Occasionally there are dinners - I would like to go sometime because the pictures looked great.

Stopped by here for lunch after we heard about it from our daughter at Baylor. Interesting stand alone community, obviously religious, with a full community to explore. The Café has a pretty basic menu which really lauds the hamburgers, but I have to say the Rueben Sandwich there was one of the better ones I have had, with a nice... More

We had heard from multiple people that if you're ever in the area, to drop by this place and we are so glad we finally did! What a gem! The service was very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic and the surroundings at the homestead are great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and that Monterrey Melt sandwich with poblano... When we first pulled up to the farm like village my husband said, "What have you gotten us into?" When we sat down and got the menu I said, "You can apologize when we get back in the car!" The food was delicious. Split avocado burger and hubby had the largest side salad I've ever seen. I had a cup... More

Chose the Homestead using Tripadvisor reviews. We were well pleased with our choice. Beautiful setting. We had the chips, salsa and guacamole. Hubby had the Cheeseburger and I had the Reuben. Both were very good. Recommend!

I have been here three times, and love the peaceful atmosphere and the great food. Service is always attentive and very tasty. The cuban burger has the most AMAZING homemade pickles! And today we had key lime pie and chocolate silk pie... divine. The raspberry lemonade was excellent, although not quite as strong and flavourful this time as last time.... More

My wife & I went to Cafe Homestead on a weekend and they were SO kind to call us and hold our table for two when we were running late. All the women in the knit shop were kind and helpful and everybody else we encountered was open. Food was good. Although burgers had a lot of fat in them... More
