Tasty Custard

Just vanilla and chocolate in a fairly plain cone. But very tasty, solid vanilla and chocolate flavors. Crowded but line moves fast.

Delicious custard! It is a little pricey, but perfect for an occasional treat. My kids loved the whoa whoa burgers, too. Perfect size for little ones.

$28 for three kids and two adults . Everyone ordered small custards with minimal toppings. Not impressed with the portions for the money. Staff was unfriendly and didn't want to answer any questions about their products.

My wife and I stopped here twice during our weeklong stay in Waco. They have some of the absolute best frozen custard we have ever tasted. I have to agree that their prices are pretty steep but their custard is wonderful.

Katie's is a Waco landmark. Their sundaes and ice cream are great. They always create special flavors for each holiday. My favorite is the pumpkin spice around Thanksgiving

Happened on this place a decade or so ago, Custard is among my cannot pass by items, and this is Custard, not soft ice cream being called Custard. I go out of my way when in the area to stop by Katies, I dream about her vanilla custard, chocolate also doesn't suck, but the vanilla is worth going a few... More

I don't live in Waco, but when I'm in town I'll make a special trip to Katie's. The frozen custard is as good as any I've had anywhere in the country. I highly recommend the Texas Turtle (fudge, carmel, pecans). If you hit it at the wrong time it can be very crowded, if we had arrived 5 minutes later... More

It been awhile since we've had a real frozen custard and Katie's was as good as I've ever had. We went on a Sunday night and the place was packed. The custard itself is wonderful and they have many great ways to serve it. I had the Texas Turtle--outstanding. Katie's also has hamburgers, etc., which we didn't try, but they... More

Another Waco tradition, Katie's Custard is a year round treat. Can't tell you much about the "food" but the custard is fab. The turtle sundae will knock your socks off. I don't care what that other Hewitt custard place tells you,....this here is the best in Waco!
