My wife and I decided to stop by for a quick burger on Sunday 8/24/14. We had heard good things so we went to see for ourselves. We both ordered the standard hamburger, her's all the way and mine sans tomatoes and pickles. She ordered onion rings and I the french fries. Onion rings appeared to be homemade or at... More

We stopped here on our way to the river to float. The burgers were good. Fries were ok, onion rings were awesome. Burger bun was very dry. Other than that good place to stop.

I've been coming here for years since even before it expanded. A true hole in the wall and a great location. They have expanded and for good reason. Their burgers are GREAT! I have yet to try the Zipper Ripper, but one day I will. If I pass through Waco, Texas I make it a point to stop here (see... More

What a pleasant surprise. It was a rainy night, and no cars in front, so we took a chance being the first time there, and glad we did ! It was so fresh, the hamburger buns so soft, and the onion rings were excellent !! Very hot and fast. They were very nice ! Definitely a little local place to... More

Food was good, lady taking the orders was less than pleasant but not a reason not to go here, burgers were decent sized, fries were good. A LOT of people were here. Kind of a small place not a lot of room for people to sit. Bacon cheeseburger tasted like different meat than other burgers and was disgusting. We had... More

Some friends and I ate at Dave's and it is a good burger with the potential to build anysize or anyway you want it. I had Jalepeno cheese burger and very good. Not sure I would do the Zipper Ripper Challenge that has 5 patties and bacon on it. Staff was nice and food arrived quickly!

Dave's has the greatest burgers and shakes ever. I used to live in the apartments across from them and my family and I ate there all the time and now we drive from north waco to eat there now

My husband and I are retired and we like to try different local restaurants weekly. Dave's Burger Barn was a pleasant change from the fast food chain burgers. We went during the lunch rush but surprisingly the wait was not long. The burgers were big and hearty. We will be visiting Dave's again real soon.

I did not try the Zipper Ripper Challenge with it's 5 patties and layers of bacon. Just the jalapeno cheese burger. The jalapeno's were fresh not pickled which was a nice surpirse. restaurant was very clean and staff was nice. Easy to find and get back onto interstate if your just passing through.

I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and my guest had an regular hamburger. Both were very tasty and were fresh-made. We also loved the homemade chips that had a slightly sweet taste. Very generous portions. Great location, easy to find. Great place for friends or maybe a business lunch. Great view of the park next door. I would highly recommend... More
