This was one of the best places I've ever eaten. Excellent Frank Napolean sandwich, fresh bread, wonderful meat and cheese, Kite plate was awesome! Very friendly wait staff, everyone seemed to know everyone, little kid birthday party going on in the back. Definitely stop at Fossati's if you are in the area. It will be a little taste of heaven.... More

It is located in downtown Victoria. It is the oldest deli in Texas! They serve a simple menu. Sandwiches and soups. I love their chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips and a pickle.

Fossati's is the oldest deli in Texas and one of the oldest restaurants in the USA. Seemed like a good bet for lunch on our way through Victoria TX.. The service was horrible; it was probably some of the worst service in a restaurant I have ever had. I think the waitress forgot to put in our order though she... More

Chef salad is great, fresh ingredients. Love that they will deliver downtown area when you don't have time to leave for lunch. The daily specials are always good! The Pita club is amazing but plan on splitting it, its HUGE!

Have been enjoying lunch at Fossati's for about 15 years and I've never had a lunch I didn't like! Their food and service is always excellent. They serve great lunch specials each day as well as really good sub sandwiches.

Every sandwich I order I asked for hot spicy mustard...they make it. It's a fast hot that will clear out you sinuses. Their prices are very reasonable fir lunch. My finance usually gets the brocolli bees soup for every order! Delious....we eat here regularly . Good staff too

The homemade soup of the day way blah, uneventful. The muffelata was a small tour texas version. Not exactly bad, but no where near authentic. The ambiance is magnificent! You can taste the history in the room. I'd recommend at least one visit.

This may be the oldest restaurant in Victoria and may be the best place in Victoria to dine. From the walls to the floor it reeks of times gone by where cattlemen made deals while sitting next to bankers making deals. The food is super fresh and all homemade. I've had the lasagna and the Reuben sandwich, both of which... More

Unsurprising food served with a friendly smile in a historic atmosphere. Best appreciated when viewed as a change of pace, at a slower pace.

Love the food, love the atmosphere. I like to take family to unique places when they come visit, not chains, and this place hits the mark. Really good chicken salad!
