The atmosphere was cool, but the service wasn't amazing. Next time we travel through the area we will try someowhere else. The #21 (the famous John Madden meal) was pretty tasty, but the Tacos Carbone were just okay. The kids meals were nothing more than Kraft Mac and cheese and frozen chicken nuggets. We never received refills on our drinks... More

Dined here 2 years ago. Was ok. Tried again today. Sat at table, took my child to the bathroom, upon returning to table, waiter asked if we were ready to order (we hadn't looked at the menu yet) I politely said no give us a few minutes. He returned about 30 seconds later so no, we're still not ready to... More

Waitress brought 1 tiny cup of salsa for 4 people. After she brought or drinks it was 50 minutes before we got our food. My wife asked for extra dressing and never got. Tea glasses were empty for 40 minutes. Abd I had to ask if order had even been put. Never again

We stop here every trip Dallas to visit our daughter and family and again on the back to San Diego, Calif. Chuy's is a must stop with the best Mexican food when we are away from home, Not big on their chips but salsa is tasty. Food is also tasty. Both my husband and myself being Mexican come from generations... More

As a Hispanic, I know Mexican food. The food was terrible. The best thing about the restaurant was the decore. We spoke to the owner and informed him of how bad the food was. He seemed interested in fixing it.

Heard the Madden stories, so had to stop. Food ok, nothing to write home about! Must have had a different chef when Madden stopped by. Smoked beef tacos were very bland and beans were luke warm. If ever in Van Horn again for a meal, will probably go across street to Cattle Co.

Nice family run place. Home cooked and family owned. A little short on staff when we visited, and chips could be better, but will stop next time if thru Van Horn.

Warm, nice and quiet place to spend an evening. Great food (numbers 12 and 21 of the menu) and atmosphere! Thank you!

Place looks nice. Great Madden story. Food is not good. Came here a few years ago and it was the same. Need Rescue Diner or one of those shows to come out and revamp the menu. Last time I come here.
