It was Sunday night and not much was open. I had super nachos and a cold beer (very cold). Nachos just ok - had grayish beans, some ground beef. I asked for jalapeno and they put some on there but they were canned/jarred not fresh so that was disappointing. Very much a sports bar atmosphere. Service was good and fairly... More

Colorful exterior that draws you, pleasant waitstaff (albeit on the slower side), and just a small selection of mediocre beers. Average and tasty Mexicans meals that are a bit overpriced for what you get ... But, overall, a nice spot to stop for lunch if you're in the mood for a Dos Equis or Corona and some basic tacos or... We had dinner here, the food was good, the service pretty slow. I asked for a margarita and was told they ran out? Salsa was pretty spicy. Interesting place.

I would never stop for lunch here again! The food was poor and not that hot! Probably the worse Mexican restaurant I have been to!

Very welcome on a cold night after a long drive. The staff more than made up for the just so-so food.

Stopped in for a good mexican meal and margaritas while staying in Van Horn. Some reviews were/are good. Our experience was poor to average at best. The place is tired, bathrooms very poor condition, overall cluttered and below average cleanliness in restaruant. Service was good. However the food was some of the worst I've had. Taco salad had no lettuce,... More

We had planned to go to Subway for a sandwich for dinner, but we were staying right across the street at the Knight's Inn, and once we saw Chuy's, we knew we had to go. We got takeout, and the food was excellent and very authentic. It was fun to look at all the autographed photos on the walls while... More

So John Madden stopped here. OKAY.........Now about the food. Ok Mexican cuisine. 'Nuff Said. Might go back if I'm really hungry enough and everything else is close. Can you tell we weren't impressed?

A small family owned restaurant, we found the food to be authentic and quite good. Chile Relleno's are a favorite and, while a little different from what we might expect, the ones served to us here were outstanding. With a crunchy coating on the outside, the peppers were full of yellow cheese. Very flavorful. Our other food was very satisfying... More
