We wanted to be able to eat at our hotel and this restaurant was very nice. The food was great and so was the service. Our waitress, Debbie was very professional. Th menu has a nice variety for light or big meals.

When the prices are high and the service is not, I can not recommend a restaurant. I get nervous when I have to wait and wait. Going to look for another place to eat when in town.

We enjoyed a very nice meal after taking a short walk up main street. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in town for one night in a motel. It was the Saturday after thanks giving and the town was closed. Desperate for food we thought we would chance our arm at this grand hotel, The food was excellent and not expensive. The. Service was as you would want it. They also mix a mean Margarita.

I read the reviews listed by others on this site and went with their suggestions. My wife had the chicken fried steak covered in Pistachios with jalapeno gravy, mashed potatoes and asparagus and I had the chicken pasta Florentine. Both dishes were were beyond excellent! Service was prompt and pleasant. The Manhattan on the rocks was great too!

We stayed in El Capitan partially because of the great reviews of the restaurant, and boy were we not disappointed! It's an upscale-looking place in the hotel, but fairly casual in atmosphere, which was nice. Drink and food menu were well-varied too. My family got the pistachio-encrusted fried steak, chicken florentine, and the greek salad, and we enjoyed all of... More

A bit slow for these weary travelers. A bit overpriced. I paid far too much for a hamburger. The prime rib was okay at $25.00 no prices on the menu was our first clue.

During our stay in El Capitan we had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The service was spot on and not overly fussy and the food well priced and delicious

At the suggestion of the waitress, we each had soup and salad and then split the main course. They even put it on two different plates for us. This meant that we still had room for the incredible pecan pie a la mode. Everything we ate was delicious. Probably the best meal we have had in a long time. Their... More
