Always a pleasant lunch

We always find Cheddars to be a comfortable place for lunch and the food is excellent. Especially love their chicken tenders and their house salad is always excellent. Hamburgers are great with good quality beef and trimmings to your order. My husband loves the potatoe soup.

Haven't been here in some time. We love the Southwest Spinach dip. That has become the only reason we go there. Saturday night was no exception. The dip was great but the chips not so much. They were greasy and tough. In had the Mango Tilapia, which is my favorite there. It had changed and was too sweet. I don't... More

I was in Tyler on business and had asked the hotel folks of a decent place to eat. They pointed me to cheddars and said its pretty decent. So.......the drink called "painkiller" ....is phenomenal, just saying! I got a steak to eat, yes, I know, it's not a steakhouse, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's wasn't dried out etc. service... I don't eat meat. That makes Texas a bit tough for me. One of the reasons that this is so hard to review is that there can be exceptions to everything I write. For example, I can talk about how just about everything on the menu seems to be calorie laden and unhealthy, however there is broiled fish. You get... More

Ate here for lunch and enjoyed the vegetable plate. More food than I could eat, and it was all tasty.

The monte cristo sandwich is phenomenal! This location is a little cramped, but most cheddars I've been to seem to have small stores. The service and food at this location was on par with other cheddars I've been to, I'll be back!

I used to like this place but there are much better options now. Had lunch here yesterday and got the club sandwich and baked potato soup - both were very bland. Only ate a few bites of each. Service was fine but I will not be back again.

Good food, but service can be slow if they are very busy. They have a variety of different dishes..........................

We recently went to Cheddar's for a second time. When I looked over the menu, I had a hard time getting excited about the options. Most were typical fare with very little imagination. My husband and I shared the Monte Cristo sandwich and a burger. They were both good, but nothing special. I was surprised that the sandwich was actually... More

Food choices and value were very good. Only drawback was the long wait to get a table . Noisy atmosphere okay with me, but our friends objected.
