Awesome breakfast!

Okay, let me preface this by saying that I usually prefer to eat locally and avoid chains. That being said, their breakfast is delicious. I had their Parisian Benedict, and it was absolutely scrumptious. I would recommend coming for a little later brunch or very early breakfast because this place... read more

They always have hot breakfast and great sweet tea. The service is great. Sometimes you have to wait on a Sunday morning but worth the wait. Also the prices are great.

Four of us visited this place after church. It was a little crowded getting seated but they had free coffee outside, while you waited. The wait wasn't long. All four of us agreed it was the most delicious breakfast we had had in a long time! Two of us had the Parisian Benedict and two of us had the Biscuits... More

The food is good but the restaurant operations are awful. People waiting when a third of the tables are open, then filling them all at once and overloading the kitchen. I would say "avoid when busy".

My husband and I enjoy going out for breakfast on Sunday morning. There aren't a lot of choices for places to go in Tyler, fortunately some of the choices are excellent. The Egg and I is an excellent choice! I started with the Hazelnut coffee and drank much more of it than I should have because it was so wonderful.... More

I really enjoy this place. I was tempted to sit out on the patio this morning but didn't. Great area to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and visit with a friend. I tried the eggs act benedict and it was amazing. I got the hollandaise sauce on the side, as I am watching my weight and wanted to... More

Anything you want plus things you don't usually see in Tyler. Service was great. Will go again. Great green chile! Love the ranch potatoes they serve.

I have eaten at the Egg and I on four occasions. Each time, the food has been quite good and the service excellent. On this most recent visit, I ordered the raspberry granola whole grain pancake. It was excellent. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon and sausage were both tasty. My husband ordered the Parisian Eggs Benedict.... More

My first time here. Such a large selection to choose from! Egg white omelets, Frittatas, and more! Chicken apple sausage is a must try!!! The Greek is my new favorite. So different than the tired old Denny's or IHOP menu. Give it a try, you will be like me. AWESOME!!!

Went here for lunch on a lark - besides the full breakfast menu that is always available, there were lots of sandwich and soup options. I had at least 5 choices that I had to skip.
