Some of the best dishes

Had a wonderful time there, but brought a coupon because the price is a tad robust. The mozzarella sticks were freshly made, and were amazing. The food was lovely, but to pound out one chicken breast to save money & still charge is more? A little rude. All was great, but the prices/sizes need to be... read more

This was a return visit for me, as I have eaten at this restaurant several times--not frequently, however, as there are things about it that bother me. This restaurant is still loud and echoy and not conducive to conversation. It's therefore not good for friends or business associates who have something to discuss. The menu is overpriced. My chicken piccata... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for a good steak. We ordered the rib eyes, and they were just average. The menu was interesting, though, so maybe next time we will try something other than a rib eye. I ordered mine with grilled zucchini and while not bad, the zuccchini seemed to be without any seasoning at all. However, that is... More

My husband and I live in Tyler and frequent this restaurant. Each visit we have found the food to be top notch. We have tried several items on the menu and they have all been great. The staff is friendly and attentive. You can't leave without trying the creme brûlée it's amazing.

The food is fresh and tasty. My chicken was some of the best I have ever eaten. I must add that the service is above average as well.

The staff could care less if there was any one there or not. They seem only to be there to visit with each other. Used to go there more often because they had a Fabulous bartender who made the BEST dessert martini. I guess he found better job. Food average or not. Not consistent! I guess it depends who in... If you want a nice, fresh salad, Sonoma Grille is a great choice. As our waiter mentioned, their menu consists of more salad choices than anything else. Some nice salad choices. My one complaint would be their lack of a good beer menu. They had only one craft brew available on the day we were there. Still, we'll go back... More

We wanted to eat somewhere new and hate to eat at chain joints. Nice laid back place but it seems the service was a little off. The beer selection could be better as well. We both had some type of shrimp and scallops dish which was quite good and the prices are about right. We will try it again and... More

Still in search of good dining in Tyler, and not finding it thus far. Service at Sonoma Grill was good all around. Ambiance was good. A nice dining experience by apparence and service. Wine selection was sparse, and cab was bitter. Combo appetizer was calamari that was light and with good cocktail sauce (good) combined with fried zuccini that was... More
