Tasty BBQ and more!

My family recently ate here as a group to celebrate my cousin's wedding that was taking place the next day. I ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. The ribs were very tasty, as well as the BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes. The green beans were a little bland and less like what I'm... read more

With all the good Bbq in Texas, you can find a better place to eat. Meat is mediocre at best, sides and desserts are store bought. Why not just go to Kroger and "make" this at home?

People seem to like this place. I don't get it. I ordered grilled shrimp po'boy. What I got was four pitiful shrimp on a bun. Sad. My idea of a po'boy is crusty French bread. NOT . 8.00 dollars. French fries were from a bag. Did I mention the cashier was rude?? She overcharged me and got upset because I... More

We've been going to Rib Tickler (when owned by Ted and Sylvia) for over 20 years, and still pick up a stuffed potato, or a chopped beef sandwich, and some Texas Sheet cake, but the brisket is under smoked, and dry. They trim ALL the fat off it, so it may be calorie friendly, but fairly tasteless. I do love... More

St Louis ribs are very great!! BBQ beans are also good! Try BBQ baked potato loaded. Haven't tried anything that wasn't good.

As a former BBQ restauranteur and current tour guide, I've tasted a lot of BBQ and the Rib Tickler is WAY near the top of my list. Quick, DELICIOUS, friendly, clean...it's got it all. From the meats to the desserts, everything is top notch. Ted, the owner, is always so happy to see us, consistently going above and beyond to... More

Ted and his wife have taken the restaurant back over and it has taken us some time to get back to the Rib. Good food is plentiful since he has reopened and got the place back. He was the original owner and he and his family know how to run a restaurant. We also saw someone eating fried catfish filets... More

Always happy people working, great food. Price can't be beat. Much better than other chain joints nearby.

The Rib Tickler has some of the best ribs I have ever tasted.. And the fried shrimp is great too, better than I've had in some seafood restaurants.

I hadn't been to the Rib Tickler in years only because I don't travel that way too often but I was not disappointed going through the drive through to get a rib dinner with baked potato! At my destination I could have eaten it all at once it was sooo good! Great value! And the woman at the window gave... More
