Description: Bringing the best of the backyard to the restaurant scene When award...
Bringing the best of the backyard to the restaurant scene When award winning, celebrity chef Kent Rathbun created the gourmet backyard cuisine concept, some scoffed. Others thought it was crazy enough that it might just work. Well as it turned out, Chef Kent was onto something and his unique concept soon became an award winner too - a Nation's Restaurant News Hot Concept! Award winner. What exactly is gourmet backyard cuisine? It relies on fresh, seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. It uses recipes that are familiar and loved. It combines the two, elevating both to a level that's comforting, yet unexpected at the same time. Lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and Sunday night family-style or regular service dinner -every meal is simpler than you'd expect from an Iron Chef America winner and better than you've ever had in any backyard or restaurant.

Great food

this is a favorite of ours with cutting edge architecture and a great staff. The ribs are excellent, the steaks as well. Highly recommend

Jasper's is an exquisite restaurant set in exquisite surroundings. Although exquisite in design and style, with great service, prices were still reasonable. The menu is eclectic and portion sizes large! There is a beautiful patio that adds to the already large interior. Jasper's is a popular attraction, so best to call ahead for reservations if waiting is not what you... More

A colleague of mine and I went to Jasper's for dinner during a recent business trip to the Houston area. I was very pleased with the food, from the appetizers (a lettuce wrapped teriyaki chicken that was very tasty with good sauces, and an actual appetizer size for the 2 of us) to the entree. I had a shrimp and... More

Every time we visit our family in The Woodlands Texas area we have a special family luncheon or dinner. We thought we try this place by seeing their Menu in the website. By the time we walked in and were greeted we knew we were going to enjoy it. It's a great place for Business people to meet and have... More

Been to this location multiple times and although the food is typically good it is the service that is hit and miss. The one in Plano tx I have had a more consistent experience.

Just okay summarizes my one time never to return visit. Priced too high for the overall experience in my opinion.

Went there for Valentine's Day with another couple. Food was great. Wait staff and service slightly less. Waitress was late to come to the table, we were ready to order drinks. They went out of their way to find ingredients for our drinks. Appetizer served, that we did not order. We thought part of the special; starting eating, did not... More

1st thing we were seated at a folding card table you see in someone's garage they breakout at Thanksgiving time when they have too many people over for dinner an not enough table space. Then we were immediately greeted with there are 2 mistakes on the menu....that's ok, I understand mistakes happen. Wait I need to back up, my husband... More

We began our evening with Old Fashioned cocktails, made special with both a cherry and orange slice frozen into a spherical ice cube. Then for a starter, we enjoyed a tuna/noodle salad which was as fun to look at as to eat. I had the prime rib served su jus with a braised half onion and a loaded baked potato.... More
