Description: Bringing the best of the backyard to the restaurant scene When award...
Bringing the best of the backyard to the restaurant scene When award winning, celebrity chef Kent Rathbun created the gourmet backyard cuisine concept, some scoffed. Others thought it was crazy enough that it might just work. Well as it turned out, Chef Kent was onto something and his unique concept soon became an award winner too - a Nation's Restaurant News Hot Concept! Award winner. What exactly is gourmet backyard cuisine? It relies on fresh, seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. It uses recipes that are familiar and loved. It combines the two, elevating both to a level that's comforting, yet unexpected at the same time. Lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and Sunday night family-style or regular service dinner -every meal is simpler than you'd expect from an Iron Chef America winner and better than you've ever had in any backyard or restaurant.

We should have remained as a Caspar

Very loud and not good value (I guess I couldn't see the value in miniature dishes that were only ok). We caught with friends for the first time. Being new to the country we didn't know what to expect. We haven't been back. We had to wait in the bar for over an hour. Our new friends had been... read more

Great please to meet customers after work. Excellent food and service while discussing business. The decor is upscale and clean. The food is made with fresh ingredients and is flavored well.

My husband and I went to Jasper's on a Tuesday for lunch and I'd say it was fine but not great. I wasn't a fan of my Caesar salad or French onion soup, both of which are hard to get wrong! And in a nearly empty room we were seated right next to a large, noisy group. It could've been... More

I was staying at the Hyatt and walked over to Jasper's for dinner. Sat outside. There were fans overhead in the patio. Yes, it was hot, and, yes, there were a few pesky flies. But what else would one expect outdoors, in Texas, during a heat wave? Our server was very attentive, and made sure our glasses of ice water... More

Went here for a family dinner last night and when we got the bill was reminded why we hadn't been in a while. The food was fine--nothing extraordinary and at $37 for salmon and mashed potatoes I really expected a better dish. Our server was very attentive, and it was a nice evening, just over priced.

My husband and I went for happy hour. It was pretty crowded but we managed to find two chairs in the corner of the patio. We took the chairs and as we sat there, we started to notice flies. And they started to multiply. I thought that they were coming from the plants so I moved my chair. What a... More

Jasper's is a great place for quality food. It is not a chain restaurant. There are several of those in the area. The food and service has always been great.

Very good food! Large partions, I ordered the Turkey BLT sandwich with fries and could not finish half of my sandwich. Service was very polite and attentive.

Disappointed! Visiting from England, and have eaten at Jasper's many times before. I'm a level 6 reviewer so rest assured I praise as well as offer honest feedback. To give the restaurant credit, they provided us with three complimentary desserts between the four of us (!) after the problems we had. My wedge salad, was pre cut iceberg lettuce, overdressed,...
