New location and same great food

Loved the new, larger location though it is laid out exactly the same! The line is usually to the front door which gives you plenty of time to decide what to order from their detailed menu. The line moves rather quickly - finding a table is still a little tricky at times. The food is top notch! The... read more

Second time I have been to the new location. Was at the old place several times in the past. This is a good place if you want to just sit and talk. There are lots of groups of women around that are doing just that. But if you come in for a late breakfast as I did, you going to... More

After several bad experiences here, we gave it a rest for nearly a year. They moved. My husband went to lunch here, had a burger, reported it overlooked and dry. This was right after reopening. Ok, so we have it some time. We used to go here almost every week and sometimes more often during the week. This visit, the... More

A mid-range serve yourself kind of place with really good salads and flavored teas. The eggs benedict is also really good and they serve it all day on the weekends.

Great!! Very broad menu, something for everyone. Upscale self service and has bar with what looks like a very good wine selection.

Black Walnut is good. Service and food are good. Ambiance is good. I will continue to eat here. They finally have a large parking lot and that is fabulous!

We love Black Walnut and always enjoy it. We tried their new location and the quality is just as good. The ambiance, food, service, and location are perfect. I loved the Tex-Mex omelet and it was cooked to perfection.

I had heard about the Black Walnut Cafe from friends but never went because the parking lot was always full. Lots of places to choose from in the area, so we never bothered till now. This cafe has a wide variety to choose from. The procedure is simple--walk in, pick up a menu, decide what you want, walk up to... More

Can't miss trying the Black Walnut Cafe....it's always crowded and the reason is simple. The food is good. We just tried it for breakfast for the first time although we've been going for years (now in their new location farther north off Research Forest) and were very pleased. Broad menu and I've get to be let down by anything.....I do... More

My only issue with Black Walnut used to be the parking! Luckily, they recently moved to a new and improved location and that is no longer an issue. If you like brunch on Sunday, this is a great place! Their patio is a great place to hang out on nice days. Menu includes something for everyone.
