Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Great place to meet up with a friend for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I also enjoy going for Saturday morning breakfast with my husband.

My only issue with Black Walnut used to be the parking! Luckily, they recently moved to a new and improved location and that is no longer an issue. If you like brunch on Sunday, this is a great place! Their patio is a great place to hang out on nice days. Menu includes something for everyone.

Tiffany, one of the cashiers always remembers us by name and makes us feel very welcome. The service is quick and the coffee and fresh juice are excellent. They also make a great bloody mary. The outdoor seating is nice in the Spring and makes a great spot for people watching. The eggs benedict is one of the best in... More

One of the best "casual" places in The Woodlands. The food is excellent, but you have to stand in line to place your order and pick it up. This can be a bit annoying. The noise level is high and at brunch/lunch, people are packed in like sardines

I have been there a couple of times due to friends wanting to go. Every time I went there was a insanely large unorganized line with no place to sit while waiting. By the time you wait in line and for your food an hour and a half has gone by. So if you are in a time crunch, avoid... More

I have been to BW numerous times. I really like the new location. It's easier to get there and park (still crowded at times). Their food quality and selection are great. The signature Black Walnut salad is a meal in itself. The wine selection has improved since moving and it's much more open than before. I've not had a bad... More

Although the food has been good over the years, the wait to order and to receive food, correctly prepared, has grown longer and longer. The manager explained to me tonight that 2 cash registers is really all the kitchen can accommodate, even though the seating has been enlarged at the new location. At 8:30 pm, we waited more than 15... More

Best burger ever! They also have a chocolate cake that is amazing! I've tried many dishes and have loved them all so it is a winner in my book! Little pricey but worth it!

When we walked in the door I was expecting a quiet cafe...not the case. You order your own food and pick it up yourself. It was crazy loud and hardly no tables available (Sunday around 1 o'clock) but... The staff was friendly, the menu extensive and the food Delcious! Extensive beer selection and nice bar area. I would go back... More
