Lively and nice service

I like Los Cucos, but a complete update is overdue (waiters' uniforms, tableware and furniture) The food is generally good, except for 4th of July weekend when it was definitely not as good as usual, and everybody in my party did not feel well afterwards: too much MSG/Adobo? Hopefully they will... read more

The place has the luxury of location and it's always busy. I'd have to candidly say it could stand some updating but I'm sure they don't feel compelled to do any because they don't have to. The food is good and the service at tables is excellent. Their take-out system is not great but is acceptable,

This place needs new furniture and a good cleaning. I remember when it first opened up (late 1990s) and it was the place to go if you wanted a good Mexican meal. Well, it looks like they still have the original furniture and fired the cleaning crew a decade ago. Don't look up unless you want to see ages of... More

This place was able to reserve me a table for 10 on a very crowded Friday night with short notice. It was my wife's birthday and it could not have been better. Service was awesome, friendly and first class all the way. Prices are very fair and the food was really good. Tamales were great. Chips and salsa were never... More

We came in the off hours for a late lunch and enjoyed delicious food and margaritas with excellent service. Our waiter was very pleasant and accommodating. They made us a beautiful salad that wasn't on the menu, and everything we ate was really tasty. Loved the salsa and thin, warm chips and the homemade tortillas that came with the fajitas.... More

I'll start with the one positive thing I can say - there were lots of fresh vegetables in the rice. Other than that, things have really gone downhill here. Tough beef fajitas, flavorless chicken fajitas, and actually, most everything was flavorless. Don't know what has happened. This location has been here for quite a while, and although they've been inconsistent... More

Our favorite Mexican Restaurant in The Woodlands, by far! Food is consistently good as is the service. Restaurant could use a facelift, that is our only complaint.

My husband and I are avid Los Cucos goers. We have ate at multiple Los Cucos' in many areas and love this restaurant dearly. We went to this location at Panther Creek in the Woodlands and had the most awful dinning experience we have ever had at any restaurant. Our server never came to our table, it took 15 minutes... Fajitas sizzling are one of my favorites as well as table made guacamole. Wait staff is prompt and friendly. Tea and water refilled without asking. Bar drinks are large and happy hour is a bargin.

Tried the lunch chicken tacos. They were okay but nothing special IMO. In fact, they were a little too spicy for my liking. Had the tableside guacamole too and it was very good though. Overall, I am a little disappointed in the food today so I wont order this lunchtime meal again.
