Having lived in Texas for quite some time I know what good Mexican food tastes like and this was probably the worst. This is a chain so other Los Cucos locations might be better but because of my experience with the one in The Woodlands, I won't try any of the others. To say the food was inedible would be... More

First time to visit this restaurant, staff seemed annoyed. Shown to a table with no conversation or acknowledgment that we were paying customers. Waiter looked through us like he didn't want to be there. After delivering our meal we politely pointed out that we needed utensils and napkins. He gave us a look as though we were just a bother.... Was recommended to us by our realtor as we were home shopping in the area, and it was very good. Busy but we only waited about five minutes. Place was packed and the food was very tasty. Service was good. Will go back!

I know other restaurants are more famous (e.g. Chuy's, Pappasitos, Guadalajara) BUT none of them compare to Los Cucos. A family favorite for lunch or dinner, the food is always delicious and the menu expansive. The staff is hilarious and always polite. If I could eat here everyday I would! Only negative thing, you will smell like a fajita after... More

This is a restaurant that has been around a long time. It's good, very reasonable, Tex-Mex. I have a daughter who moved to another state and when she comes home, this is the first place she goes.

Los Cucos has been in The Woodlands the longest of any of the Mexican restaurants and there's a reason why. Good food and service! Although some of the waiters can be English challenged they find a way to provide great service. They are also a great restaurant to use for catering from small events to 150+ people.

Great margaritas -- $1.99 for happy hour on Monday nights. We got a big platter (don't remember what it was called). Very tasty. Very noisy until some people cleared out. The location is hard to see from the road -- you better know where you are going.

Visited Los Cucos off Panther & Gosling - always great service and rarely have to wait. Best mango margaritas around and consistenly excellent quality food. Very good enchiladas and chicken tortilla soup.

If you are looking for tacos and enchiladas, Los Cucos is not the place for you. They specialize in more upscale food - especially seafood - rather than the traditional TexMex fare. My husband and I LOVE the Gallitos Fish! It's the best thing on the menu and it is consistently excellent. Also, the Fajitas a la Cuscos are to... More

The old one in downtown Katy is good. I've been to the newer one by Katy Mills twice and both times it was horrible. The first time they set up an extra table by the restrooms for us. The second time they tried to pass off doctored-up pork & beans as barbacoa beans. The one in Conroe, off I-45, is... More
