Food is above average. Not overly TxMex. I lived in New Mexico and consider myself a bit of a snob generally when it comes to the Mexican category. This place is actually one of my favorites around here. Wait staff are quick and efficient. The place gets busy and the inexpensive menu draws in a crowd with higher percentage of... More

We went for lunch on a Friday. We were a large party. The staff was excellent, we never waited for anything. The problem was the food. I had the Friday special. It was a Hatch enchilada. It was so tough I had to cut it with a knife. It was dry and bland. Everyone else seemed satisfied. The beans were... More

"Not too bad" is what one says when he doesn't think it is excellent but believes it may be better than many other Mexican restaurants. I wish that I could choose the best enchiladas from one restaurant, the best tacos from another, the best beans, tortillas, etc., from others, and combine them into one restaurant. Then we might have something.... More

On a beautiful Sunday out with my boyfriend and the dog we decided to make an hour drive through the awful traffic to go to chuys. Mind you this was out favorite place to eat because not only is the food great but they "were" pet friendly. We get there, order our food, our drinks and start eating our chips,... More

I am a big fan of Chuy's and have eaten at several of their locations throughout Texas. The food never disappoints, and this location was no exception when I recently visited with my daughter and niece. On this occasion I ordered the fish tacos and they were delicious. What made this location stand out for me, however, was the friendliness... More

We enjoyed the diner with our daughter and son in law as the food was fine but server brought the wrong beer to me and wrong beer rita to my son in law. The server was good but with the extreme diner crush it was understandably confused! Worst thing was that three thug looking young men in bar tried to... More

Oh gosh this place has the worst Mexican food in town. I have tried several things here and they don't keep there bathrooms clean at all. Sorry but a Mexican restaurant needs to have a clean bathroom for customers.

This place is always busy and loud, and be prepared to wait for a table. With that being said, it is always worth the wait. The bar is a good place to hang out while you're waiting, they have good house margaritas and the Texas martini is great! The margaritas here are NOT the neon green, super sickenly sweet variety... We came to Chuy's for dinner and we were not disappointed. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly, and our waitress was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. There is a great vegetarian selection, and the refried beans, mexican rice, green chile rice, and charro beans are all made without any meat additives (unlike many tex-mex... More

Average food, lots of chips with dip, fast service, very loud. Our waitress didn't really seem very happy when we requested silverware. OH MY! So if you enjoy this type of dining experience go for it. I would look around for an alternative.
