My lady and I and our daughter were looking for a place to eat where we could take our dog Mrs Jones. We had passed Tuscano before and noticed the large patio area. We asked and, lo and behold, Mrs Jones was welcome. A rare find these days. Now to the food. Very good calamari to start, although the portion... More

They have great shrimp scampi! Other dishes have also been very good. The service has always been good & I love the circular booths. I wish they would have their staff pronounce "Trattoria" the way it's supposed to be pronounced.

Excellent food, excellent service. We tapped by for lunch on recommendation of a friend, glad we did as we may not have otherwise gone in. Authentic Italian cuisine cooked with fresh ingredients. We will try this place in the evening and ample some of the wine.

My granddaughter just turned 13 and as we usually do for my granddaughters' birthday, we have a day of shopping and dinner/lunch with Pappy and Gram. I let her choose where she wanted to go for dinner but her choice was one of the major chain Italian restaurants. I really prefer local restaurants. La Trattoria Tuscano was the right choice.... Was really looking forward to some good creative, quality, freshly prepared Italian food.... Coming from the east, we had high expectations....while we enjoyed our evening and the food was satisfactory, our meal was not anything special. We hoped this family owned restaurant had more promise... But it was just ok. Our server was attentive and bread was warm so that... More

It is hard to find a good restaurant that has a pleasant atmosphere and is not pretentious in The Woodlands.our waitress Nicole was wonderful. We had great food including fried mushrooms with a wonderful sauce. We also had a delicious chicken dinner with a lemon and white wine sauce mushrooms and capers.their house red wine is 14 hands one of... More

A colleague and I went for a quick lunch at the recommendation of our local client. We were not disappointed. We both ordered the chopped salad with grilled salmon, which was excellent. The service was quick and friendly, and the price reasonable. The only minor glitch was that the credit card machine wasn't working; fortunately I had cash.

I will give this visit an Average-Plus. After our last visit, I had the same opinion... so no, time does not "heal" -- more attention needs to be made to a couple of areas: food "freshness" and "flavor balance"... The steamed mussels that I had were not fresh. I should have sent them back, but truly, I was too tired... More

Four of us (2 couples) ate here on a Friday evening. We arrived about 5:45 PM and there was still plenty of open seating, although it was beginning to fill up. We were directed to a booth, which we perfer as there is more privacy. Our waitress brought us bread and olive oil, balsamatic vinegar along with two small bowls... More

Ate here last night and can't believe I had not found this before! I had the "deconstructed crab cake" for starters - If I had been at home, I think I would have licked the dish! Then I had the spaghetti and simple meat sauce (very nice) while hubby had the seafood special - and loved it. My crab soup... More
