Fresh, Delicious Italian Fare

We enjoyed our first visit to Via Emilia. The food was excellent. All of the ingredients were fresh and the dishes were well-seasoned. We were there for lunch, so we didn't take advantage of the extensive wine list. The service was attentive and informative. All-in-all, a good first experience and... read more

My wife and I were in The Woodlands, for a "concert weekend". We wanted a fine dining evening, last Friday, and, after sifting through all of the recent T.A. reviews, we chose Via Emilia. The service, the table, the room, and most importantly, the food and drinks were all top notch. She enjoyed several glasses of Italian wine, paired with... More

Took my wife to Via Emilia to celebrate her birthday. It was our first time there so didn't know what to expect. Boy, we're we pleasantly surprised! We started with their Gamberoni e Avocado, an unlikely marriage of shrimp, pineapple and avocado that was absolutely wonderful. My wife ordered Lasagna Della Nonna and I ordered the Filetto di Manzo Griglia... More

Some out of town friends told me they "discovered" this great little authentic Italian place in the Woodlands and I had to smile, because I knew they were talking about Via Emilia Italian. My husband and I ate here often at it's former location and were sad to see it move away. No doubt the family has kept up their... More

The food and service were very good. The crab stuffed mushrooms were excellent. My wife had the escargot and there were a hair on the rubbery and salty side. Great wine list displayed Oman iPad to make selection easy.

We ate here a couple of years ago and looked forward to going again. They had some outdoor tables and we enjoyed a lovely dinner outside with elegant but friendly service and perfectly prepared and seasoned food. There's a huge range of prices -- so you can spend a fortune, but you don't have to. For example, wines by the... More

One of our favorite restaurants in the Houston area. Never fails to please us and our guests. Delicious entrees along with an interesting and varied wine list. The ambiance and decor above average with service that is attentive and prompt, not overbearing. Piano player a plus adding to the experience.
