Very good and great service

We wanted some actually Italian-like Italian food. Not just the red gravy stuff. We wanted slow simmered meats and beautiful salads, not to mention the possibility of delicious pasta. So, we jumped in our car and made the trek over. The place was packed. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a... read more

My husband I had our 37th anniversary dinner at Via Emilia's last night, and it was lovely. There are so many places we could have chosen in The Woodlands for a special occasion, but having had positive experiences there in the past, we knew we would not be disappointed, And we weren't! The seating was soft and comfortable, the lighting... More

Strip center food -- what can you expect? Well, this is going to surprise you. Via Emilia is in a strip center by an urgent care, hardware store, Starbucks and a BBQ place --- but don't let that put you off. This place is a gem. Excellent staff, wonderfully cozy, and food that will rock your world. The menu is... More

The restaurant is family-run and the food is excellent!! Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very inviting...MUCH nicer than you would expect to find in a restaurant in a "strip" shopping center. There is live entertainment (piano) on some evenings. In my opinion this place has the best Italian/Continental food in The Woodlands.

Went on Saturday night, had a drink first (which were pricey), had dinner which was ordinary but also pricey. Service was good, food was good, but really not memorable in any way. As I write this, I really can't remember what I had and that was 3 days ago. With so many restaurants in the Woodlands, I don't understand why... More

Excellent job all around. Great food (chicken parmigian and a red snapper fillet). This was a Wednesday, when they had half-price Italian wine night. Had a very good Chianti. Certainly will return in the future.

I came to this place twice in 2013 and was VERY disappointed they called themselves Italian when a real Italian knows how food must taste, a friend had a surprise party here and we all went there again. I had bad taste from last time I was there but surprisingly the place got better. I dunno if they have a... More

Me and my husband have been going to this restaurant since it opened; a welcome addition to all the boring chain restaurants in the woodlands. Food is wonderful and service very nice. However I think the the good reputation has 'gone to their heads' . After being too busy for a while to eat out, we took some friends here... More

We had a party of 6 and were seated at a great table. Drinks, Calamari and Wedge Salad were exceptional. The Entrees left something to be desired. The Gnocci's red sauce was a little dark and our guest said it was just ok. Veal Picatta was not the best…it had an off taste and had too much breading. We'll be... More

There are not many places in Houston, let alone The Woodlands, that serve up such great dishes as Veal Shanks, Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Ravioli. Consistently good food, fair service and pleasant atmosphere all make this a very desirable choice when dining out.
