Good for special occasion

We went there for a special occasion, and the service was really good, not rushing or so. All three of us had something different, and each dish was good. I had the veal Emilia, good taste, however the sauce was a little thick, and I had asked if there was some pasta with it, next to the asparagus... read more

Nice place especially inside -- traditional trattoria feel to it. They take reservations but we've made it with walk-ins. Menu is strong with all the Italian classics and a robust wine list. Service is professional and there is a piano player for comfortable ambience. Good choice for a date or families with older children -- would not recommend for babies... More

We shared a calamari appetizer- lightly battered, tender and well seasoned. Enjoyed the salads- pear & gorgonzola, spinach and caesar. Greens were fresh and crisp and dressings were just right. Beef filet, lamb shank and squid ink pasta- generous portions and flavorful. Desserts: canoli, tres leches cake and chocolate cake- all very good. Wait staff are friendly and attentive.

If you are looking for great Italian food at a reasonable price, you gotta try this restaurant. the service is excellent and the pricing for a glass of wine is reasonable. I love the lasagna and the seafood pasta.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. It is a beautiful "private place" for people who know about it in The Woodlands. The Woodlands has so much to offer as far as restaurants, but this place is special. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is to die for, and the service is the best.

Fine food with great service with good ambiance. Lovely to find non-chain food inThe Woodlands. Higher end Italian. The choices are wide and we've been here several times and never disappointed.

The atmosphere is really good for a night out as a couple and at lunch time it is a really good spot to meet up with a friend for lunch. The food is very tasty, I especially like the chicken parm or the lasagna. And did I mention the wine list? It is very large and the quality is excellent.

My husband and I love coming to Via Emilia. It is our yearly Valentine's Day spot, but we come throughout the year, since once a year is not enough! The service is fantastic and the food is even better!

Truly great Italian food in an elegant setting. First class service and a good wine list. Wonderful homemade pasta. My husband orders the slow roasted Cabrito again and again. I love the mixed seafood with white wine and lemon sauce over linguini. Many families celebrate birthdays and anniversaries here. Don't be fooled by the location in a nice shopping area... More

This is my favorite Italian restaurant for special occasions. The wait staff is superb, and the menu is divine. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate special holidays, or special girls' lunches :):)
