Great food and service

We live in the area, and came across Schilleci's while shopping around market street. I had not noticed it previously, because it's pretty small. We had the shrimp Po’boy and the blackened shrimp with sherry risotto and asparagus. The baguette on the po’boy was buttered, toasted, well dressed (lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, ketchup, & hot sauce). The blackened shrimp was very good and the risotto had a good flavor and wasn't too heavy. The asparagus was lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The service... More

Met friends for dinner and always wanted to try this restaurant. Although I thought the restaurant inside lacked in ambiance, a little loud, the food was delicious. The staff was personable and friendly. The traditional cajun food was good which is to be expected, those of us who had fish were very pleased. Those sugar powdered pillows beignets caught our... We noticed the restaurant sign and thought we might eat here. We looked the restaurant up in Tripadvisor and saw that it was ranked #11 for restaurants in the Woodlands. We stopped in around 5pm to make reservations but weren't sure if we would need them since the place was practically empty. We came back at 6:30 for our reservation... More

Food is excellent, service is great. Preparation and presentation are excellent. Might be considered expensive for what you get. I will go every so often.Atmosphere OK. Outdoor seatting is available if weather permits.

Stopped by for lunch while shopping in Market Street. Small place with very friendly and helpful wait staff. The waiter recommended the duck, which was fantastic; the etouffee was good but not exceptional. Tried the beignets for dessert - much bigger and flatter than the classic little pillow-shape beignets from Cafe du Monde, but still very good.

Perfect weather, nice outdoor seating, good service and absolutely delicious food make for a perfect fall lunch. Their cooking continues being quite special, the Voodoo pasta was delicious, the blackened St. Charles pork cooked and seasoned to perfection and their gumbo has a full body.

I am not an easy-to-please customer. It's been a while since I've been to the "staple" restaurants in Market Street, mainly because I feel the food is overrated and the service is slow. I've walked by Schilleci's often and perhaps my impression of the other Market Street restaurants prevented me from trying it out. BIG MISTAKE!!! Last Friday we met... More

Our family took us to Schilleci's as we are from Louisiana. The atmosphere and service were great as was the owner's greeting on our arrival. Most of the food was great but our son in law got the gumbo which was not very good and our seafood platter was about half OK with shrimp, crab cake and crawfish very good... More

We were attending a concert at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion and wanted to have a bite before. Everywhere we stopped at required reservations (Saturday night around 6:00 pm). We stopped in Schilleci's as we were about to give up and just go into the pavilion. We were greeted by the owner at the door. He said, to give him a... More
