Needs an update

Ran down not the best service. Place needs a total upgrade. Food was average. Had to send drink and food back to get what I had ordered.

Denny's Restaurant in Texas City is at the intersection of Palmer Street and Texas 146. From Palmer Street, turn south onto Texas 146 feeder road. When departing restaurant, one can only go south onto Texas 146. A return to Palmer Street requires a U-turn on 146. Approaching a bridge that crosses Palmer Street, bypass to the right of the bridge... More

Have to say that the new Manager, Lynn , was very cordial and made sure in person, that each table received a visit from her with a Friendly Greeting and offer of assistance if needed ! The new layout of seating was more conducive to semi private dining though a large group nearby who had kids running amuck detracted from... More

Tonight our late night visit was way below par for even any of this chain I or we have ever visited! ! The Server was super friendly but... More

I was staying at the hotel next door, and I asked the desk if they would recommend the Dennys in the parking lot. They said they wouldn't recommend it due to complaints they had heard. Oh god, I wish I had listened to them! This was the worst restaurant I had ever been to, and the service was beyond lousy!... More

Slow service, under cooked eggs, cold bacon - should have gone elsewhere. Right next to a very nasty run down hotel.

Anyone who frequents a Denny's, has come to understand and expect less than quality food and service. The sausage links were red in the middle, the toast burnt and the eggs cold.

The food was alright and the prices typical of casual dining but the service was the worst I have seen in a very long time. It took an hour to get our food and we never saw the waitress again after the food was delivered. Had to cut our TBone with a bread knife as we couldn't even find anyone... More

Good food and friendly service. Food was warm and tasty with good attention to service. Prices were very reasonable and consistent.

I've eaten at a lot of Denny's restaurants and this one was nothing special. The wait staff was slow (even though the restaurant was only 1/3 full on a Saturday AM). I had to constantly ask for my coffee to be refilled. I won't be back.
