Googled from the road; looking for "real food" during our stop-over in Texarkana on our way home to Austin. Glad we stopped. The boys had chicken and waffles (I sampled - soo good!), my daughter had the margarita pizza and I had the grilled shrimp w/ sweet potato. We also had fried green tomatoes and queso for apps ... Everything... More

A colleague from work brought me over to Ironwood because she wanted me to have the experience of eating in a locally managed restaurant instead of food chains. I'm glad she did. The restaurant was quaint, very ranch-looking with its high ceilings, wooden beams and ceiling fans. The menu pretty much covers all bases, from sandwiches, appetizers, steaks and tacos.... More

Went with the hubs and 13 year old and we were in love even with the appetizers!! But when the food came out it was even better. Hubby had the blackened boneless ribeye, he was making such a fuss over it i just had to try it. That was literally the BEST piece of red meat I've ever tasted! OMG.... More

First time ever to go to this place. Quaint building with an outside sandbox for the kids. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Had a steak, potato and salad around 2:00 p.m. The steak melted in your mouth, and the potato was fresh as if it had just come out of the oven. Thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Took a business associate for dinner. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Both options are comfortable and appealing. The service was great and everyone seemed to work together. We both ordered steaks and both were cooked properly and well seasoned. The sides were excellent too. The macaroni and cheese is a must.

My husband and I, his mom, and our 4 small children went for dinner at Ironwood. Have been several times before and had a good experience. When we arrived it wasn't busy. We gave our name and were asked to wait. We always request the large booth in the back. It was available so we requested it. After waiting 15... More

When I first started going to Ironwood Grill it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants but I am the type of person that likes trying different things and don't want to stick to the same thing all the time. The last 3 times I have been to this restaurant, I have been really disappointed. First they really need to... More

I wasn't being flippant when I titled this review. Beginning to end, it was just abhorrently bad food-wise. Our salads were just sad- all lettuce, like a tablespoon of small diced tomato, and a couple of slices of odd-tasting cucumber with an itty-bitty cup of dressing. The salads were surprisingly scant, but given the reviews we assumed our entrees would... More

This was a quiet out of the way restaurant and the service and food was outstanding. We would definitely recommend it.
